Does anyone know what happened to the store called Serendipity in Chisum Square? It was right behind Walgreens. They sold the Bare Minerals make-up and I'm definitely needing a new supply. I love that make-up and really need to know where I can get it. I've tried other brands and they are not as good. Can anyone help?

I've been thinking of trying Bare Minerals...Is it really as good as they claim? Is there such a thing as try it out before you buy it like the Clinique products?

Would this makeup be good for someone age 60, no wrinkles with normal skin or is it more for younger complexions?

Yes Ma'am, I think Bare Minerals works for everyone. I am pushing 50 myself, and sometimes I have red spots and this covers it really well.. Once you get the right shade for your skin tone, the rest is a no brainer. I order mine from the Bare Minerals website and it comes with brushes, which are the most expensive part to me, and also a cd showing you how to use it, with the "less is more" approach.. the mineral veil, which is the finishing product is my favorite, and also comes with a moisturizer.

I was really prepared to love this makeup but it makes my skin itch like crazy. It also has a fairly shiny finish, which is okay if that is what you like but I prefer a bit more matte finish. It is very light and covers blotchy areas of skin very well. It was really just the itchiness that drove me away.

You know, at first the itchy thing bothered me too, but after using it a few times, I only notice it a little now immediately after using it. I just assumed it was from the brush, cause I have never used a brush that much on my face, usually creams or sponges or whatever.. Prefer the shiny finish to the oily finish I was getting before because I have extremely oily skin in the tzone area.

Go to a location that sells it and they should have a set up to put it on you.
