My mailbox was one of about thirty that gpt bashed this week on Pine Mill road. My neighbor saw a dually pickup driving slowly around 2AM, white male got out and walked around to the passenger side. Neighbor thought it was just a drunk taking a leak, but realized the next morning that this was probably the person who did it. Sure wish I could find out who did it!

I took a leak once, and it sounded much different than smashing a mailbox. Maybe it's just me.

Those are welding arcs. Don't pee on those. Attempted extermination.

That is a federal offense. I wish a judge would make an example of some of these "hoods" that are doing this bashing. I think maybe six months per mailbox they bash...in a federal pen!

I believe that none of the offenses you listed are federal crimes.

Federal pens are for people who commit federal crimes. State pens are for people who commit crimes on a state level. County and city jails hold the accused until they go to trial and a few of those remain in the county jail.

If you are looking for a vandal resistant mailbox post, check out the Return-to-Center Post System. It rotates and it is easy to install.

I had this problem a few years ago so i set a 6" post about 4 feet deep and built my own mailbox out of 1/4" steel plate. About two months later i came home to find a bumper off a 65 chevy impala laying next to my mailbox. The Federalies made me take it down, said it could kill some one if they hit it.One week after i put up new box it got stolen.

What a coincidence! Cash found a brand new mailbox in front of your house.

No, I have owned my home for 15 years and I prefer to have a mailbox on-site. What I would love to have is the opportunity to catch the basher red-handed. I could make him change his ways.

Assuming it's a "him" proves you're just a prejudiced redneck. I'm glad cash got your mailbox.
