Yea... I am thinking that Heath may need some psychological counseling.. not trying to be rude, just um... encouraging maybe? Maybe if we pray enough God will show him that what he has been doing (i.e. harrassing people, stirring up conflict, etc.) is not a very Christian thing to do :)

Acts 26:24-25
24 Suddenly, Festus shouted, "Paul, you are insane. Too much study has made you crazy!"
25 But Paul replied, "I am not insane, Most Excellent Festus. I am speaking the sober truth."

Yes, John was the ONLY person God called a baptist. He was not part of the baptist church because it did not exist in the first century.

Nowhere in the Scriptures does God call His church baptist.

Nowhere in the Scriptures do you find "Baptist Christians".

Funny that the guy who wrote that article no longer believes that the "church of Christ" is the "one true church" nor believes what he wrote anymore, and has repented of acting the way Heath is acting now.

But would Heath admit that or take down an article that the author no longer agrees with? Nope, because that would interrupt his agenda-you might as well give in Heath now-because one day God will interrupt your agenda.

What Is The Church Of Christ?
Jason Carter

Let's start with a word study:

Church = "The company of all Christians regarded as a spiritual body."

Of = "Derived or coming from; originating at or from" or "Belonging or connected to:"

Christ = "The Messiah, as foretold by the prophets of the Hebrew Scriptures" or "Jesus."

Thus, the "church of Christ" is "the company of all Christians regarded as a spiritual body, originating from or belonging to the Messiah, who is Jesus." (Rom. 16:16)

The church of Christ is not a denomination made by man, but it is the church that was promised by the Lord (Matt. 16:18). No denomination can make that claim, as all denominations were formed by men centuries after the Lord ascended into heaven. Only the church that originated from Jesus Himself is acceptable.

Man does not have the authority to decide how one becomes a member of the Lord's church. That authority rests solely with the Lord Himself. In Acts 2:47, we are told, "And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved." Peter didn't do it; Andrew didn't do it; John didn't do it; the Lord did it.

Those who repented and were baptized by the Lord's authority (Acts 2:38, 41) were those whom the Lord added to His church (Acts 2:47). It is the only way revealed in the Scriptures.

There are some authors who wrote about God who have become atheist. Does that mean the truth they wrote about the existince of God is no longer valid because they now deny the existence of God?

Besides, you have no proof of your accusation about Jason. If you do then post it for all to see.

Try reeeeeally hard to think before you post. ;)

You have no proof of many of the things that you say-but you say it anyway.

People writing about the existence of God compared to the fact that Baptist churches are evil and your sect of the "church of Christ" is the right one is TWO completely different things. One is truth and one is not. One can be proven and one cannot.

When what they have written they no longer believe because it is NOT truth, then no-it is no longer credible. But, you won't be able to see that because it will not feed your agenda. You will use anything and anyone to fuel your agenda at all costs.

When what they have written they no longer believe (in God) because it is NOT truth (to them), then no-it is no longer credible.
