Geez....since topix came on the scene, all of the deaths happening are so more in the lime-light. I am sure it is like this for the most part. I just don't normally hear about so many of them. It is horrible.

It's gotten to the point where this is faster and more immediate than TV, radio or newspaper. And the personal interaction on here of people who actually knew the victims adds a certain chilling dimension to it...

It is true. Too bad that this place could not be a reliable source for all people to put first hand accounts of news on here. The newspapers might want to register on here....LOL

Does anyone know anything about the wreck on 82 West that happened around 7:00 PM Friday night? I heard that someone was killed in that one also.

I was following the Rosson's for about 20 miles and saw the accident. My son and I were the first on the scene. This was truly an accident and my heart goes out to the Rosson family as well as to the young driver of the car and her little girl.

I know all the reports say that David and Cindy are from the Paris area, and yes, they have lived there for many years, but they were raised and went to school in Antlers, OK. Many of us still consider them from Antlers. We're devastated and heart broken for all their children and grandchildren. David waited a long time to find Cindy and they were so very much in love and will deeply be missed by many of us "back home".

except for that liability issue they have to deal with...topix is faster, especially since the paper can't print without fact checking. I think you are right though, I think employees of the paper read and "contribute" on here from time to time. JMO

I met Mr. Rosson about 2 or 3 months ago when he hooked up my cable for me. He was really nice. I enjoyed talking to him. I am very sorry to see this has happened. I too will be praying for the family. RIP David and Cindy.

I heard about that one too but don't have any details. There were also two other fatal motorcycle accidents this weekend that I heard about one in mckinney and one in bonham. No one had on helmets. I hate motorcycles
