Go to the hopsital emergency room for a pacemaker malfunction. Dr. Hasmi or Dr. Shafiq will fix you up nicely!

Thank God for Salas Minor Emergency..There is a lot less wait time than the hospital emergency. Great place for minor emergencies. Thank God for the Hospital. It is not perfect, but neither are the ones in Dallas or anywhere else. There are some great people who work in our hospital. I am glad I don't have to drive two hours to try to get help! Everybody should think about that .

Did you know that the 'nursing staff" at Salas isn't nurses at all. They hire people with no credentials. Their turn over rate is unbelievable. The clinic manager is a Joke! I had a friend that was there when he was yelling at a physician assistant while patients were in the rooms. How professional is that? What gives a clinic manager seniority over a Physician Assistant, definitely not education. Please beware when taking your children there I wouldn't want just anyone giving medication or shots to my baby.

You might be surprised at the people they hire off the street to work in dr's offices as medical assistants. Giving injections is a big deal and can be really bad if you don't know what you are doing. Thing is places like Salas' and other dr offices don't pay squat so probably can't afford licensed people anyway. I have heard this about the office mgr there and the high turnover rate.

How funny. You assume that because I expect a higher level of care for my family; that I was fired from there. This is simply to inform the community. People have a right to know who is treating their families. Grow up!!

"MINOR EMERGENCY" does that not make any sence to you? a minor emergency is a common cold or a cut that needs a couple of stitches. broken bones should be looked at by a specialist. use common sence!!!!!!!

You just flat out lied. Salas has several mds and 3 or so licensed physician assistants. The also have lvns and other licensed personnel. Injections are even given at pharmacies now. Pharmacist has to pass a test.

They also employee people that call themselves medical assistants that have been trained on the job somewhere and didn't have to pass any kind of test.

You are right about the office manager. I was there one day and this guy was in one of the rooms getting some lab work done and the OM goes in there and starts yelling at the guy. I could hear every word and the OM was using the Fbomb repeatedly. A real hothead that one.

If this is all true, then why does Salas keep him? I'm sure he is the reason they can't keep help there, but there is no excuse for this type of behavior.

For your information they have on their nursing staff: LVN's, EMT's and paramedics. All who are trained and certified.
I'm sure you are just the 'cow' who got fired and has now become a 'disgruntle' employee who wants to trash the place because you were let go. If you think one post on ''Topix'' is going to keep the 80 some odd patients that come through there daily from coming, then keep on! I'm sure it won't get you very far.

. Good god. Ie been there before and I shall say the wait is miserable and the staff there were all rude and acted stuck up and like try hated their own jobs. For you to sit there and call a former employee a cow just shows how they have back stabbers in the clinic. Was her weight the reason she was "fired"? How cold hearted does a person have to be to make that sort of comment about a persons apperance? I hope you satisfied and are content with your own choice of words. I hate how people are so willing to step on someone's name so quickly. Btw I hate Tom and salas and every other guy that works in there. They're rude and creepy and just make me SO uncomfortable!!!! And most the women in there judge you from your head to your feet when they look homely and a Lil bit trailer parkish I might add. I'll never go back to a place where I'll be judged so quickly. Thank you for showing me the true side to people in SALAS EMERGENCY

. The only "bigger" person I remembered working at salas was a lady with blonde and black hair. Like blonde on top and BLACK on bottom. Crazy hair due but she was DAMN good at her job. When I came in she was the one I preferred. She never hurt me when she gave me a shot and never once had to do it twice. Her personality made the visit memorable and gave me a reason to recommend salas to other people. So if SHE is the "cow" your referring to, then SHAME on u. She was better at her job than you probably ever will be. You make me sick and I'll NEVER AGAIN RETURN TO SALAS. she can loose that weight but I'm sure youll always still have that DISGUSTING attitude of yours. I wish you luck in your life because you'll need it with that quality you have. I'm sure if you work there you are ugly as hell to. I've never seen a pretty women worker in there. So ur just ugly inside and out huh? God help u
