I was going to Bonham this morning and at the Tigertown turnoff they had the entire highway closed due to an accident. I had to detour all the way to Tigertown over to Monkstown and back to Honey Grove. Just curious if anyone knows what happened.

Motorcycle hit a cow, then may have been run over by another vehicle.

It was a cow. a friend of mine worked the wreck. It involved a motorcycle that hit the cow and 18 wheeler came up on the accident after that. not sure if the semi ran over man on motorcycle. no identity of the man on the motorcycle, but he was dead on arrival. the wreck happened at the county line between honey grove and paris. Tragic for all involved. Please pray for the families.

According to The Paris News:
"Martin was driving a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle westbound on U.S. 82 about 6:15 a.m. when he struck a dark colored bull standing in the roadway. He was ejected from the vehicle and came to rest in the middle of the highway."

Too true.. Too true.. crazy that so many freedoms are taken away on a daily basis. We are not anymore free than any other free world country these days*. If this was a free country than I would indeed be able to drive my car without a seatbelt.. It's crazy that the government thinks they have the right to mandate such things as wearing a seatbelt.. Things that affect the safety of nobody but you shouldn't have a mandate..

*Obviously that statement excludes oppressive 2nd and 3rd world places and places being ruled by dictators and such.. use your brain..

Just another way for them to squeeze money out of us. No seat-belt tickets aren't cheap.

Nobama is on his way out, so you can forget your agenda against capitalism. The majority will win.
