i am former employee.. and now i am a store owner.. and i know that you should treat your employees with respect and really show that you value them or they will in fact leave.. i did just because of that.. i wasn't an employee for this "christi" but i was an employee for an ungreatfull boss and he ended up losing a lot of business when i left. because he didn't want to put in the time to do it himself like i did. he was closed a year later. just always remember you once worked for someone probably and how did you like to be treated as an employee. always give your employees recognition for their hard work. i am not just talking to chritie here i am also talking to mycentx2 .. it doesn't matter if you are the employee or the boss everyone should be treated w respect from janitor to ceo
I, too, am a former employee and a former and current business owner. I started at the very bottom and worked my way up; always respecting my bosses; and in turn they respected me. If I couldn't respect them (or vice versa) and appreciate the opportunity they gave me to work, earn a living and learn the trade from them, then I didn't stay. But, I always respected the fact that they were my boss and I was their employee; and our roles and responsibilities in the business were separate. I have had successful businesses. I have/had wonderful employees who were rewarded for their dedication and hard work. They became, are and will always remain my family. I'm wondering who you are to speak so condescendingly as if you are the authority of business ownership and employer/employee relations. You do not corner the market. Nor are you privy to the above issue....unless of course, you have a vested interest in the preceding comments. Otherwise, you can save your authoritarian comments for someone who cares what you think.....and I seriously doubt you are a business owner.

Sounds like you have a grudge against the owners of the store and are on topix talking trash like it is going to influence people not to go in there. Either that or you are related to this Jordan and are trying to make her look good. Either way you are making it look like the employee is the one behind all of this. Business owners may have multiple businesses and usually hire competent people to work that they can depend on. Your business is usually judged on how you are treated and the quality of your product. Either way your axe to grind Bloomington, Il multiple times with the owners is making it look like the employee is behind it all.

i see how much you like your employee. i gurentee i am not any of your employees but you obiously are very nieve to think that she would be the only person to notice things. see even when it isn't an employee people always want to put blame on someone else.

Christi,
You shouldn't worry about this site. If you will look at all the other threads, you will notice that many of these people just "surf" the threads commenting negatively on everything. Most are rude and just looking to get a rise out of someone. They will attack anyone who makes a comment. The people who say those awful things must live miserable lives and have nothing else to do. They seem to always be trying to start an argument. I've looked at Topix in other cities to see if they have this type of rhetoric and I've not found one. Paris should be embarrassed that Topix is used for the type of "scuttlebutt" that appears on here. People from other cities see it and it is an embarrassment to us all. You are a charming lady with a wonderful family. You deserve to be commended for the service that you provide to Clarksville.
I've had people even cut and paste things like how to fix a broken zipper and paste it after your post. You will never get respect here, and neither will I or any one else. It's an ugly environmental experiment by some mad psychologist. No seriously if you are sensitive to what is to be expected in such a place then just take a vacation or just forget to ever type the word t*pixs again

This is so funny.... My employee just told me we were on Topix and I do remember someone coming in and telling me a while back that we were on there. So, being intrigued that we made topix I decided to look this up.
First and foremost, if I wanted to advertise on Topix I would have used my name and secondly I would not have mispelled my business name.
It is Vintaj Cowgirl.
Thank you "Just me" for the nice post and hope you come back to see us.
Good reply. Good luck with your business and my hope for you is to make alot of $$$. As soon as I have a day off I will be venturing your way. Happy shopping and happy sales. See not everyone is an azzhole.

Jealous much? There have been 7 posts on this thread which show Bloomington,IL as location/proxy. This is uncommon, so I think all 7 posts were made by the same person using various names (add, blast, sick responsibility, boss, cindy). So what's your agenda, sweet pants?
so basically everyone that said something bad.. you think is fake but the ones that say nice things.. oh those must be real.. get a grip. and all that i saw cindy say was what are the hrs. whoever you are you should't read to much into anything on here. it'll drive you crazy. you can't control what people do or say. but you can't just agree with the nice things that poeple say.. there is probably some truth to the coments that you don't like. i say if you can't handle it then you shouldn't be looking people on here can be really mean.

THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN OPEN WHEN I HAVE GONE THERE. BUT I HAVE GONE RIGHT AT TEN BEFORE ON MY WAY TO RR FOR WORK. IT'S THE ONLY TIME I CAN BUT I HAVE TRIED THE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS AT THAT TIME AND HAVE HAD NO LUCK. I GUESS THEY OPEN RIGHT AT TEN. I KNOCKED. I DON'T THINK ANYONE WAS THERE. DO THEY HAVE A WEBSITE SO THAT I CAN SCOPE OUT THEIR CLOTHES?? MAYBE I CAN ORDER THEM OFF OF THERE EASIER THAN I CAN GET THERE WHEN THEY ARE OPEN.
