Dear Editor,
In her most recent column, my friend,
Mary Madewell, attempts to make the words
of a historically loved president and a ruling
by the highest court in the U.S. trump the
words of one of the two most critical documents
to the founding and operating of this
nation.
“When in the Course of human events, it
becomes necessary for one people to dissolve
the political bands which have connected them
with another, and to assume among the powers
of the earth, the separate and equal station
to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s
God entitle them, a decent respect to the
opinions of mankind requires that they should
declare the causes which impel them to the
separation.” Declaration of Independence. It’s
been done before. It can be done again.
Secession from the union by our great state
may not be on the table or even considered a
serious option now, but let the self-appointed
king continue his shenanigans and we may all
see far more unimaginable things than that.

No kidding! If the pres doesn't get his act together and quit acting like a king who thinks we have an unlimited national credit card, and that millions of people are just going to let him destroy the American way of life, things could go haywire quickly for this country. Future is looking mighty grim at this point.

You people are so stupid. What's Obama really done that Bush didn't do? If you want to complain about the debt then you have to start with Iraq. There wasn't this debt before Bush. Clinton left us in good shape.
If you're talking about the executive orders, then Obama has less than any president in the past 100 years or so.
Face it, you don't like losing. Thank goodness you live in Texas where most of the other idiots and Bush lovers live. You have your idiot governor to lead the party. What a damn joke.

You're the joke it seems as you seem to have your head in the sand, or elsewhere, since you don't realize that most people here don't like Bush or the current Prez, as they both acted in accordance with Agenda 21 and ignore the Constitution with the Patriot Act (BUSH), extensions of NDAA (Osama), executive orders (substance matters more than quantity) overspending on purpose to set us up for Socialist takeover (Agenda 21's ultimate goal of a New World Order.) Wake up dood and quit puffing that reefer.

I believe Bush left about a $10 trillion debt - maybe $12, I'm not sure. How much is Obama's? Right now, it's well over $16 trillion in less than 4 years -- NO president has EVER run it up like that! What's more, he has not interest in stopping it. Executive orders are not a problem -- executive LEGISLATION is!

I think I'll just stay here and laugh everytime the publicans have to give in to Obama. Guess the next time will be over some sort of gun control. If hunters need assault weapons to hunt they should give up. Heck, even Cheney can hit a man with only one or two shots.
