I saw a brief mention of TCIM on the Wal-Mart thread, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me about this place. I was thinking about applying but I've heard some things that weren't very good. Can anyone that's worked there tell me more about it?

Yeah, TCIM sucks even worse than wal-mart does. I remember when i went inside tcim to get an application like two people were walking out and cursing and saying that, they hated tcim and that I was making a big mistake trying to work there. Well i went ahead a worked there, but only for 2 days! It really sucks there. Its like you are in school. There are a lot of rules to go by.

I personally have never worked for TCIM or spoken to anyone that worked there, but let me introduce you to the real world: Typically, when you WORK at a JOB, there are usually RULES. Geez.

TCIM is a major DRUG place. Most everyone that works there has been in jail or prison. I worked there two months. I quit when I started finding out all of the bad that works and goes on there. If you are ok with that then it just might be a good place for you.

Well, all these potheads and crackheads and young white girls sleeping with black drug-dealing boyfriends have to work some place, now don't they?

It's not a great place to work, but it's awesome if you REALLY need a job asap and can't find anything else. Basically, it's a good in between. However, I know several people that have worked up there for years and for some reason they stay. I have worked at both TCIM and Wal-mart and I would have to pick Wal-Mart anyday. It's really not as bad as you might think. If you do your job and don't complain constantly, it's really not all bad. It's a matter of the personal opinion really!

In all the years I've worked since I was entering high school, I've yet to find a place that doesn't have rules. The nerve of those darn people!

I was employeed at TCIM (several years) and Wally world as well. And Yes, you have to have rules. But while at TCIM the rules are always changing! Just when you think you understand something and got the hang of it something new from corporate comes in. OR...a supervisor doesn't like someone and works that to their benefit and on on on.And of course if your part of the PARTY CROWD or put out to the RIGHT people your good to go until something better comes around or someone is fired Lots of turnover for a reason. DRUGS IN TCIM YOU BET! Managers getting it off the floor or on the streets of Paris like the others,Drugs and Sex in the parking lot out back. Trainers sleeping with people out on the floor, alot of cheating on spouses. Corporate has MANY GAY's employeed in the company. Have known people to be fired over gay remarks to gay employees,no matter how rude and disrespectful gay individual was...Wal-mart...it's okay, do your job let them jerk you around in hours and areas to work and don't complain too much you'll be ok . But ...this was just my experiences.Good Luck

Of course the place is bad. What do you expect? There are no educational or experience requirements. It doesn't take much more than a pulse to get a job there. I worked there when I was going through college. They had convicted fellons hired on as supervisors. I knew of a trainer who got convicted for attempted murder. They hired a man who was legally deaf to work @ a place where he was expected to answer the phone. How much sense does that make? A lady from corporate came down to manage it & she got to screwing around with these guys. They became 'friends' so she gave them cushy jobs involving the payroll. They subsequently stole a bunch of money, & all got fired. The morals there are GONE! There are a whole lot of spouses cheating on each other there. Like previous people have posted, it's not a bad in between job if you can deal with a bunch of drama.

Like previous people have posted, it's not a bad in between job if you can deal with a bunch of drama. I lasted for 3 weeks for the class and left. While I was there, one kid started threatening to kill people and they waited 2 days to get rid of him. It was only after everyone threatened to quit that they called the police and had him escorted out. Fights are common, drugs are everywhere and you're right they will hire anyone with a pulse. I needed a temp job but it wasn't worth it to put up with the b.s. They fire people as quick as they hire too.

While I was there they would have BOMB THREATS, we were actually not told until after the fact. Gotta keep making that money. Our lives weren't worth much to them apparently.I think they even had OSHA in there at one point with peoples sick for weeks throwing up, passing out not able to stand. Called Fire department but someone called OSHA on them and OSHA threatened to close them down, before they would do anything.....
