I will just say this....I haven't PERSONALLY been to Kara, but have heard many wonderful things about her and her shop, and coming from someone who doesn't wanna conform to the everyday norm of PARIS TEXAS and have blonde highlights put in my hair just like everyone else, I would say this Kara....PEOPLE DO NOT TAKE KINDLY TO "DIFFERENT" AND THAT'S ALL IT IS!...I know from experience that when someone does something "out of the box" around here, you are considered trash or beneath everyone for it...and personally I think it's freakin AWESOME because in all actuality a HATER is exactly that....SOMEONE WHO HATES YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE OR WHAT YOU ARE and they only WISH they could be half of that.....ROCK ON KARA!!!!!!!!!!

She isn't professional in or OUT of her shop! I have seen her on numerous occassions DRUNK and CURSING at local resturaunts and other places! She has done several peoples hair that I know and only one person out of all of those were half satisfied! She needs to work at a trashy bar or night club, so that she can "fit in"! Outside the box, ummm....yeah that's what we can call her style of making a total MESSSS out of peoples hair!

I wish I could for once read on here some honest feedback not trashing someone whom I have never met! These feedbacks are worthless in trying to decide on using a business or not...the way they are written, who knows, some teen kids with too much time on their hands could be making up junk reviews just to be mean.

You really think Kara would be DRUNK doing your hair? You're an idiot. My ONLY complaint about KARA and her work, is that I can't walk-in anytime to have my hair done. She is booked solid for a month or two in advance. That says something about her work. She is amazing and people want to keep going back. LOVE YOU KARA!!(BTW, what is my hair doing???...It needs some TLC.)

Kara has cut my hair every since I have been back in town and she is the only one that can cut it the right way. As far as her personal life goes, that has nothing to do with her as a stylist. She is completely professional, makes you feel right at home as soon as you come through the door!

I doubt granny would go into a place like that for a perm. So where is your new shop? Will granny be coming to you or are you banning grannies?

I have never been to ROL but plan to some day. I found out about it when I saw a cut to die for and asked who did it and was told the "girl from Austin at ROL". I loved the cut and color! Hilarious post and so true re. "look like everyone else in town".
I read a bunch of "haters" on this post. Girl from Austin at ROL you ROCK in my book!

Once again the people of Paris being very narrow minded and judgemental. Get out of Lamar County once in awhile and you will find there are many salons or as you call it "beauty parlors" serve wine and/or beer to their clients. They also offer beer/wine at nail salons! I do hope this doesn't offend all the church going hypocrits in Paris but it happens! If you do not like what someone does or says in their place of business then don't go!

So after reviewing most of the post I feel that the ugly derogatory remarks are from someone envious of this evidently talented beautician. It actually makes me want to call up for an appointment. Gosh I guess she got free advertising. Good for her.
