Thank you to the NL family for being a terrible example of sportsmanship. The things you were yelling about hurting the other team was a great teaching moment for me to teach my other children of how NOT TO act!! You're actions we're an embarrassment to NL side of the stands.

If I'm guessing right, it's the same idiots that scream and yell stupid shyt at Woodall. Has nothing to do with NL. Has to do with retarded parents not understanding that it's simply a game. Someone will win and someone will lose. I agree that they set a very good example of what NOT to do.

You have no idea who they are, but "it's probably" so and so. Nice and mature of you to pick a type of people to insult with your assumptions. You're as bad as the bag.

Hey it's NL, what do you expect. How many kids were thrown out of games this year?

You know why don't you try to go to the NL family that was a embarrassmentto NL side face to face and explain your concern. If you really are concerned than face up to someone and not behind a fake name. I can call myself sports Nana but I won't . My name is Linda and you have a problem lets find the family that is embarrassing NL stands.
IF it is our family well we learned it from the Detroit coaches when we beat them and they demanded birth documation on some of our boys because they lost may I ask what sportsmanship is that showing our kids. If we need to talk calmly this Sat. at Detroit look me up I will be glad to speak with you. I'm out there to support my grandson.

. You know there are fans like that everywhere no matter what sport you play. But I sit in those stands at NL every Friday and I DO Not hear bad things towards the other team,! I am sure there are some that I don't hear but. Like I said that is in every town at every school!

Thanks for the offer, but no thanks. I know which family it was and I have no need to point out the obvious to them.

I agree that the Detroit coaches were another example of poor sportsmanship. I don't think that just because one person shows poor judgement, that it gives us an excuse to act the same way. Kids may learn from examples, but adults "learning" it from another adults is just an excuse.
I'm glad you were there to support your grandson. As you know, these boys practice hard and play hard. Support is exactly what they need. I'm all for yelling for the team, but encouraging them to hurt each other is not support.

Your post sounded like maybe you think I was talking about your family? I don't know if you are part of that family or not...I don't think so, but who knows??

I'm not talking about the games on Friday nights. I am talking about the youth league on Saturdays when the 3rd & 4th graders play.

Are the NL young boys still playing on their own team or are they back with optimist? Haven't heard anything on them this year.

The youth head coach made some bad defensive decisions Saturday and has now decided to change up the positions putting kids in positions they have never played. No wonder so many boys didn't come back this year. My boy wants to play for the boys and girls club next year. Maybe those coaches will play more than their friends kids.

Perhaps you should give as much effort to academics as you do to supporting your team. Your post doesn't say much for NL English teachers.
