We had a wonderful dining experience today in Paris, which is not the norm.

Tables were set with white linens and antique silverware which helped set the mood....Sunday brunch was fried chicken---and seasoned just right and not greasy ---cooked all the way through but not dry and creamy mashed potatoes with poblano peppers was delicious

braised cabbage-very delicate no over powering cabbage taste
and what a wonderful dessert- creme brules- yum yum one in a coffee flavor and the other dulce de leche

wedge salad was cold and wonderful with all the bacon, tomatoes and other goodies on it---could have used a little more dressing but that is my personal taste.

we asked them if they would ever have prime rib and they said they would consider it.

I will be eating there again and save $50 ags money traveling to DFW for good food.

I realize one takes a risk posting any decent comment on this forum due to trolls who say rude awful things just because they can (usually maligning the character of the place, owner or poster)--if those pop up on here please ignore---

Four of us went there for lunch and the total bill was $36. Two teas, two waters, two sandwiches, two orders of the chicken. i

When I read about this restaurant in the Paris News I was glad to see that has finally taken a step to improve the dining experience. Paris does not need anymore fast food places, mexican or chinese restaurants.
I am planning trip into Paris and eating here is on my list. I just hope Paris will be supportive of this establishment. Many people drive into Dallas to eat maybe they will reconsider now.
