Just love the way a certain NL teacher sets such a good example for her students by over the past two days posting at least six different pictures of all her alcoholic beverages and checking in at all the wineries and pubs and bars.

If she is being responsible and not getting "drunk" then what's the problem?
I think it's actually a good idea that youth observe responsible adults can drink without going crazy.

If the 2 extremes are "no alcohol" or "crazy drunk" that their friends are getting into, that's not good. They should be aware that alcohol can be consumed responsibly.

She could be responsible, not get crazy drunk without announcing her drinking habit on her public FB. Not to mention she's checking in everywhere she goes....lets just tell everyone who sees I'm not home for two or three days! Go to my house, there's no one there! Pure stupidity, what a fine example of our children's leaders.

You missed my point.

Yes, she could do it privately.
But if she is drinking responsibly, it's actually a good thing that it's not private. It's a positive example.

Wow....last time I checked it was perfectly legal for anyone over the age of 21 to have a drink. Someone sounds a little bitter and judgmental.

Not judgemental or bitter, just make you FB private so your students can't see it!! No class what so ever.

You ARE being judgmental and it's none of your business what she is posting on her fb. Sounds like you need to get a life and quit stalking her page. She is doing nothing illegal.

Is the "mom" for real? Sounds like someone needs to blow the dust off that ol' thing and knock the bottom out of it. A little uptight is quite an understatement.

I agree you have no class what so ever. One of the vast hoard of oxygen wasting bitter hags on topix. Don't you have another married man to sleep with?

i dont have a clue what this womans motives are. Maybe she is being nosey. Maybe she us stalking. I dont know. What I do know is if I had a junior high age child and I found out my child was friends on fb with a teacher I would without a doubt be checking to see what was going on too. For those of you who say the mom would be wrong I say your the kind of parents that look up one day and find your kids in trouble and want to blame someone else.
Does the teacher have a right to post what she wants? Absolutely. If I was the mom I wouldnt be trying to stop teacher I would be stopping out of classroom contact between my child and teacher.

I could not care less what this teacher does. But when my son comes to me and say Mom. Ms./Mrs so n so sure does like to parry, it's all on her FB. Then I do have a concern to my child. You people can get as nasty and mean towards me as you want. There is no reason why someone with her career choice could not be more discreet about her lifestyle, it involves children.

Sorry for the typos , I know how people that have just as much as a life as I do just LOVE jumping on that also. Maybe my English teacher just laid out all night drinking too! At least WE as students weren't aware of it.

It's trashy and stupid for a teacher to be sharing that type of information publicly. It scares the hell out of me that idiots like this with zero discretion are supposed to be helping to mold young minds.
