I personally love the fact that he claims to be a Christian and ENTIRELY misquotes the bible. Whether one is a Christian or not, this is called LYING. This should disturb everyone. And, he claims to have this 'faith in Christ', and puts down the bible. Makes fun of it. Makes hateful, sarcastic remarks. Ok, don't be a Christian and make fun of the bible...but say you're a Christian and make fun of it?? It's so obvious that he claims Christ only to try and win votes from the Christian community. He has made REAL derogatory comments about the flag, the anthem, and so forth, and I, as an American, DID NOT appreciate them. Both my grandfathers fought in WWII. One with a purple heart. They and others did not fight for freedoms, protection, and etc., to have some idiot come in here with no experience, and start spouting off 'truths' with the intelligence and know-how of some flash-in-the-pan Hollywood actress. And, his wife WREAKS of I HATE WHITE PEOPLE. Hey, you know what?
Where I live, I have people drive by and flip me off and laugh at me because I am white. I am not predjudice. Neverhave been. Have many balck friends. I CERTAINLY don't need more of this from the president and his wife!!!
As for Snopes...Come on. I have caught them in so many biased half-truths. And this is no "E-MAIL HOAX". I PERSONALLY have caught them in half-truths. You can't depend upon them for anything, especially the truth. You can read the crap they write and plainly see that they are not unbiased, but completely in the liberal pocket.
I am personally a non-partisan concervative. I will cast my vote for Ron Paul, so as to ascertain that I have not the blood of ONE aborted child on my hands. People, there have always been rumors and gossip. And sadly, much of the time, it is false. HOWEVER...have you ever heard the old saying, "Where there's smoke there's fire"???
One last point, getting back to the 'hating white people' thing: Anybody know what Black Liberation Theology is?? James Cone. Obama's pastor of 20 whatever years loves and teaches this "theology". This theology is not at all about Jesus, as you would think, being taught in a "Christian" church. No. It's about God being for black people and against white people, and states that if He's not..."we'd better kill Him."
(I wish I had the whole quote at my disposal, but I don't.) PEOPLE. We spent so many years trying to get past the racial barrier. And now, in a time when black people have--I believe--more rights than white people (which isn't fair, either), we're going to get this guy in office? This guy who was suckled on black liberation theology? Oh I know, I know. He has "separated himself" from that church and that pastor. Are we so stupid as to think that this is the truth? This is all smoke and mirrors for the sake of the almighty vote. I guess we are expected to believe that for 20 years he didn't se that it was wrong, and but now--when he just HAPPENS to be running for president--he wakes up and says,'Oh! I must get away!' Riggghhhht...
Y'all do what you want. This ol' girl WON'T be voting for Obama. Before it was a country western song, it was a a real saying that my own daddy used to say: "You've got to stand for something, or you'll fall for anything."
If you vote for Ron Paul, I fear you will be helping to elect Obamanation/abomination! We must stand together to elect McCain!

Although I am not an Obama supporter, posts like this are convincing me that Americans are lazy, stupid or both.
It is true that Obama is too unknown and too nieve to lead us. That is easy to see, but don't manipulate people with lies, that's what dictaors do.
Here are the facts.

It would be difficult to tally the many, many ways this post is false, but we'll start with the obvious ones. First, Obama was not on Meet the Press on Sept. 7. The guests were Joe Biden and New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman. Nor was Gen. Bill Ginn on the show.

Ginn is indeed a retired Air Force general and not a fan of Obama. In an interview with PolitiFact, Ginn cited Obama's association with Weather Underground co-founder William Ayers, the group ACORN and his former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, as just a few examples why he does not want Obama to be president.

But Ginn said the Meet the Press account was fabricated and that he had never spoken to Obama. Ginn said his name might have gotten attached to the e-mail because of a message he sent to a friend expressing concern about Obama not putting his hand over his heart during the national anthem.

Neither is Dale Lindsborg a reporter at the Washington Post. Anne Kornblut, a real political reporter from the Post, said in an online chat that she checked the paper's directory and couldn't find anyone by that name.

And, Obama's quote is fabricated. It seems to be a mashup from at least two sources. The anthem part comes from a satirical column published on the Web in October 2007 by Arizona writer John Semmens that produced the original bogus e-mail that we checked last spring.

We couldn't determine the origin of the part about redesigning the American flag "to better offer our enemies hope and love," but a search of the Project Vote Smart database of Obama's speeches indicates he has not uttered the phrase. He also has not made the remark about his wife disrespecting the flag, according to the Vote Smart database.

THIS could be out next President!!!

LONDONDERRY, N.H.-- A Londonderry high school student was supposed to sing the national anthem at Barack Obama's rally Thursday, but he ended up not being able to.
Just hours before he was to hit the stage, the Obama campaign told him he was no longer needed.
Zach Bengal, 17, said he was bumped because the campaign had to make time for more speeches.
He said the campaign worker who broke the news was apologetic and said they'd keep him in mind for the future. In a written statement, the campaign said it regretted what it called a miscommunication with Bengal, but it said several other New Hampshire residents were able to speak at the event.
From Sunday's Televised " Meet the Press " Senator Obama was asked about his stance on the American Flag . Obama Explains National Anthem Stance Sun, 07 Sept. 2008 11:48:04 EST, General Bill Ginn ' USAF (ret.) asked Obama to explain why he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played. The General also stated to the Senator that according to the United States Code , Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171... During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. At the very least, "Stand and Face It" Senator Obama Live on Sunday states, "As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides, Obama said.'There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for som ething less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song ' I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it."We should consider to reinvent our National Anthem as well as to redesign our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. My wife disrespects the Flag for many personal reasons. Together she and I have attended several flag burning ceremonies in the past, many years ago. She has her views and I have mine". WHAAAAAAAT !!! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you heard it right. This could possibly be our next President. I, for one, am speechless. Dale Lindsborg, Washington Post

I think that's misrepresenting what Obama has been saying, though. If I follow the logic, that's saying the working middle-class really is less deserving of a tax break than the working upper- and super-upper class.
If I'm wrong about the following, I apologize. But I'm not aware of the Obama plan to give even /more/ welfare to the unworking. I was under the impression he was simply placing more of the tax burdon on the super wealthy and less on the working lower/middle class.
Don't think so. Guess you should read the following:

"The Tax Foundation estimates that under the Obama plan 63 million Americans, or 44% of all tax filers, would have no income tax liability and most of those would get a check from the IRS each year. The Heritage Foundation's Center for Data Analysis estimates that by 2011, under the Obama plan, an additional 10 million filers would pay zero taxes while cashing checks from the IRS."

"The total annual expenditures on refundable "tax credits" would rise over the next 10 years by $647 billion to $1.054 trillion, according to the Tax Policy Center. This means that the tax-credit welfare state would soon cost four times actual cash welfare. By redefining such income payments as "tax credits," the Obama campaign also redefines them away as a tax share of GDP. Presto, the federal tax burden looks much smaller than it really is."

McCain carries his flag pin with him 24-7. You can't see it because his pin is broken bones and beatings he received in Viet Nam as a POW. Don't put McCain down if you haven't been there yourself. I have been there so I also wear my flag pin 24-7.

"We should consider to reinvent our National Anthem as well as redisign our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. It is my intention,if elected, to disarm America to the level of acceptance to our Middle East brethren. If we as a nation or warring people should conduct ourselves as the nations of Islam, whereas peace prevails, perhaps a state or period of mutual concord between our governments,
When I become President, I will seek a pact or agreement to end hostilities between those who have been at war or in a statue of enmity, and a freedom from disquieting oppressive thoughts. We as a nation have placed upon the Nations Of Islam an unfair justice. My wife disrespects the Flag for many personal reasons. Together, She and I have attended many flag-burning ceremonies in the past, many years ago. She has her views and I have Mine.
"Of course now, I have found myself about to become President Of The United States and I have put aside my hatred. I will use my power to bring change to this nation, and offer the people a path of new hope. My wife and I look forward to becoming our country's First Family. Indeed, Change is about to overwhelm the Unites States of America"
