Get over yourself! The whole town does NOT know who did it, and neither do you. And if you do, then you're withholding evidence, and you can probably be charged for that.

And just for your information, if I wanted to be taken seriously, I'd have someone proof my posts. In addition to all the other errors, you're using a preposition in place of a verb. "Must HAVE revealed"... not "must of revealed." My goodness! Did you make it past 5th grade?

My mom lived near her at one time and said the person that was taking care of her was real mean to all her neighbors. He was always starting trouble if they didnt do what he said. She said he even went as far as calling the police one time when one of her friends in the area was having a graduation party for her daughter and gave her permission to park cars in the driveway of the empty house next to her.He threw a fit and started yelling at all the people and kids that where there. And even the police had a hard time dealing with him.He almost started a fight with one of the parents there because they wouldnt move there car.I didnt live here then but ive heard a lot of stories about this person being suspect by all her neighbors. They said he would brag about how he was going to inherit everything when she dies, and when she did and he didnt get nothing he was acting like a fool around there. She said he would come back even after all the property was given to the rightful owners he would harrass the tenants and say it was there fault he didnt get anything. My mother has passed now but i do wish something is done about this murder at sometime.I do believe myself just from her and others i have talked to that lived there at the time that there was a lot of speculation about him being capable of doing this. And the guard dogs were airdales, if i didnt spell that right sorry. But there was trained guard dogs my mom said and not one of them barked that afternoon.

A jury convicted Wooten of capital murder in May 1998 and sentenced him to death. The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals affirmed the conviction and sentence in January 2002. All of his subsequent appeals in state and federal court were denied.

According to former Lamar County district attorney Kerye Ashmore, who prosecuted Wooten's case, Wooten was also a person of interest in the slaying of another elderly woman in Paris, who was killed a couple of weeks before the Alexanders.

In an interview from death row about a month before his execution, Wooten claimed that he did not kill the Alexanders. He said he went to their home and found their bodies, then fled. "If I call the cops, they'll think I done it. I walked away. I didn't tell anybody. I thought they would pin it on me, and that's exactly what they did." Wooten's execution was attended by his two sisters. No one from the Alexander family attended.

"I don't have nothing to say," Wooten said in his last statement. You can go ahead an send me home to my heavenly father." Wooten cried when the lethal injection was started. He was pronounced dead at 6:21 p.m.

The murderer may have already died by lethal injection for 2 other murders. We will never know for certain unless another is found guilty by chance.

I had often wondered if wooten could have walked 2 and a half miles covered in blood past Searights surronded by cops and noone seen him.It would be hard i think, i would bet i couldnt do it without being seen by somebody.

They didn't walk in right after the crime had been committed. She had been there for some hours before she was discovered, so I doubt he was even in the area when the police got there.

Black man running is hard to see at night and in the shadows, even if he is covered in blood. That is why they think they can always get away. Probably why they commit so many crimes. They are made for it. Run and jump like a monkey, dark as night.

She couldnt of been there for hours, she was seen in her yard around 4 and discovered around 8. And the cops stayed parked at her house for 2 weeks so they would of been there when he walked to booth alley. By the way why did you sat they, do you have something you want to say,Wooten is only one man not they.

A witness saw her in her backyard with Wooten and one of her tenants who worked with him as a day labor roofer around 5 or 6 in the evening. She was found beaten and unconcious after 9 pm. So maybe that is why "they" was being used. Whether she was seen with them around 4 or shortly after, authorities believe she was attacked shortly after that time and found several hours later. Wooten had no alibi but was a prime suspect. The white suspect with him was interviewed by the police and seemed to be about to confess when he suddenly invoked his right to counsel and left the building. She was beaten and he had an injury to his hand when they talked to him the night of the attack. He moved to Sulphur Springs shortly after the police interview.

She was discovered early in the morning. The "they" refers to the police. DUH! Are you saying the police were parked there BEFORE she was assaulted?

She couldn't HAVE been there for hours (yes, she could). They would HAVE been there. Look at it this way:

I am here.
I was here.
I of been here.

Or

I go.
I went.
I of gone.

See ... makes no sense. Of is not a verb.

Actually the man that moved to Sulphur Springs had no reason to confess because he had a alibi, me. I know him and his roomate at the time. They lived in her rent house a couple of houses down from hers. One worked for a bail bondsman and still does now i think, at least he did a year or so ago.We were all together that day and the man that went to Sulphur Springs was almost passed out by the time he got home and we had to carry him to his porch where he fell off and cut his hand on the mailbox trying to catch himself. And he did not move because he was scared or anything,he married a girl from there and inherited a house from her parents there so he moved there and came back and forth to work.He did roof but not for Mrs. Searight but for Paris Roofing.I dont really have an opinion on who killed her but i do know that Malone harrassed them boys to no end.I would be there and he would come over there and scream and throw stuff and just act like a little kid.I know the one boy or man now had to treaten to kick his ass one day because we got to his house after the property had changed hands and caught him in his house. The people who took it over showed up after Malone called the police that day and told Malone to stay away that they was letting him stay till they decided what to do with it. He tried to but the house but there was already plans for it, so he bought one down the street and stayed there till it burned in 2003.Just wanted to put some facts out there.
