unless you have more than an hour to eat lunch or call order in do not go there for lunch. on a number of occassions we have gone there for lunch and EVERYBODY that was after us received their food. when we asked, they said well they are warming it up now. well if i wanted it warmed up, i would have taken left overs from home.

Why don't you mention this to Sherrie or Bret. If either one of them had known of you displeasure they would had gladly corrected it.

Well if what you said is true then it looks like you are the only one with a problem as everyone else got served before you.
Wonder if they remembered your previous tipping habits...after all tips stand for to insure prompt service.

24th St. is usually overcrowded, in my opinion. Check out the Junction in the depot building. The food is similar in quality and the prices of the specials are reasonable.

I agree and let's not talk about their parking space.

Well the owner is not very friendly. He tried to run a friend of mine off the road while he was riding his motorcycle, and my friend followed him to 24th St cafe, not knowing it was his place of business, to just say u could've killed me back there, and the owner replied that he wanted a front row seat to see my friend crash and die. Anyway he called the cops on my friend, and had him band from his place of business. I don't know anyone that cares for that place anyway.

They do have their "Regular Customers" and good for them, but I don't like going there because if they don't know you or your not "Someone" in this town, they ARE NOT friendly to you. I'm not talking about the help, I'm talking about Brett and Sherri Holbert.

Yeah I can agree! They are snooty and only act nice towards 'their' crowd of people.

Larry & Donna Kennemer are the new owners and yes they owned and opperated Kennemer Insurance for several years. Donna is good as gold and you couldn't ask for better. Larry can be a nut but still is a hoot to be around. The people that were working there are staying. If you have any problem with anything concerning the cafe, Donna & Larry would want to know about it ASAP.

Now maybe you will see a fire truck over there with the guy's eating inside. They never went when Bret owned the place.
