I have used CompDoc and Ziggy. I liked Ziggy better. He works odd hours at times. Ziggy cleaned off a virus and told me to use Malware Bytes malware remover to keep my computer clean.

I have used both, as well. Ziggy charged me 180 and didn't fix it. It was worse when I picked it up from Ziggy, then when I left it. The Comp Doc actually fixed it and only charged me 90. I will never go to Ziggy again.

PBS. The techs there know what they are talking about. Ziggy tends to just reformat computers, and as far as I know the comp doc had a heart attack and I'm not sure if he is back in business yet. Don't have any experience with the rest

There is lots of virus software that will remove viruses. Just get someone to make you a disk and run it. Might save you a few bucks at the repair shop. Research or have a friend to do it. Most repairs and virus removal can be done by self these days.

I have used Ziggy, Hog Wash, and Comp doc. Hog Wash and Comp doc both fixed my computers, Ziggy didnít. Ziggy also had the highest price of the three. I would recommend either of the other two. The guy at Comp doc did tell me he had a heart attack and a bypass operation back in the winter but appeared to be doing fine now.

PBS is the best place. If you want the best anti malware Use avg free version. It's great and free.

I took mine to Hog Wash and they fixed it, they were a little slow but it works fine now. Run from Ziggy, they worked on mine and each time, it ran worse than when I dropped it off.

THE BEST PLACE TO GET YOUR COMPUTER FIXED IS RIGHT IN YOUR OWN HOUSE....DOWNLOAD A PROGRAM (FREE) CALLED MALWAREBYTES...NEXT DOWNLOAD A PROGRAM CALLED EUSING FREE REGISTRY CLEANER (ALSO FREE)AFTER YOU RUN BOTH PROGRAMS......DEFRAG YOUR COMPUTER..DO THIS ON A WEEKLY BASIS AND YOU WONT HAVE PROBLEMS... AND AND YOU CAN SAVE THE MONEY THAT YOU WAS GONNA PAY SOME BOZO AND BUY YOU SOME NEW SHOES (OR USE THE MONEY TO COOK ME SOMETHING GOOD TO EAT...HAHA)....THE FIRST THING I DO WHEN I GET A COMPUTER IS REMOVE NORTON OR MCAFFE....I DONT RUN A FIREWALL......I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR YEARS WITHOUT PROBLEM....ALSO TRY USING GOOGLE CHROME AS IT WILL WARN YOU IF YOU ARE GOING TO A WEBSITE THAT HAS MALWARE ON IT.....I CAN HELP YOU FURTHER TO KEEP UR COMPUTER PURRING LIKE A LIL OL KITTY CAT....JUST LET ME KNOW

Thats a good start. What I do with a computer is to go to download dot com and download 1)Spywareblaster 2)Spybot Search and Destroy 3)Malwarebytes 4)AVG Free Edition 5)Avast Antivirus.
Then I install them one at a time and make sure to update each one until totally updated. I install AVG first then Avast. I ignore the warning about them not working together. They do just fine. As long as you keep them updated, you should be 98% good to go. As a precaution, I also download and install HijackThis. It is a tool to help fix the computer when you do have a problem.
