What are you saying? Everybody has to work and no more government welfare checks? Or Everybody gets welfare and food stamps? Everybody gets the same amount of welfare and food stamps or everybody does the same amount of work? What?

Only if you can get all the red blooded, God fearing Americans to lower their standards and to accept the morally corrupt as good role models for their children.

Okay - we get it. You can go flaunt your perversion somewhere else. Don't think you'll be so proud of it when you stand before God.

For Him to be a fairy tale, He sure does get under your skin, doesn't He?

Not any more than unicorns, leprechauns, or any of the other mythical creatures people have invented throughout history. What gets under my skin is people like you using "god" and "god's will" to deny marriage rights to same-sex couples, or to deny a woman the option of having an abortion, or to try to teach creationism as science. God isn't a problem, because he isn't real, it's his followers that cause all the problems.

How is non-belief a faith? Does it take faith for you to not believe in Santa Claus? Do you need faith to know that the world isn't flat? of course not. I have no religious beliefs because there is no evidence to support them and a large amount of evidence refuting them. There's no faith involved.

The need to have evidence to prove something exists is evidence in it's self of a person with a closed mind. A person that can't think for their self, they must be told what is and what isn't and then see it in writing. How many men believed that the earth was round before they actually had evidence? If they didn't have faith and believe would they have sought evidence to give proof to the non-believers? Faith was and is essential in the life of many wise men.

If God doesn't bother you anymore than unicorns or leprechauns, why don't you post about unicorns and leprechauns all the time?

Because no one is talking about preventing gays from getting married because of unicorns. No one is trying to deny a woman the right to have an abortion because of what their magic leprechaun book says. One myth is no better than the other, but for some reason people have glommed onto the god myth and it just won't die, despite all the mounting evidence we have that the Bible is a steaming pile of horseshit in the facts department.

In this case, it's not just the lack of evidence, it's all the evidence pointing in the opposite direction. It would be one thing to believe in christianity if there were no evidence to support any other belief, but we have hundreds of thousands of pieces of evidence supporting the idea that life was NOT created in 7 days out of nothing, and that humans were NOT created from dust in the form they are now. There is no evidence whatsoever to support this assertion, and mountains of evidence contradicting it. Do you often make it a point to ignore reality and believe whatever you want?

do you always deny facts proven by other societies of what the bible says,in their own tongues and literature they must "all" be lying and only you telling the truth, there is only one sin God does not forgive and you are committing it woe to you...denying the HOLY SPIRIT ouch
