yes, we did for months and finally changed services. They did admit it was their problem, but didn't do anything about it. Couldn't stand the service. Something sure changed. We loved it in the beginning.

Turn the phone off, take the battery out and leave it out for 2 minutes. When you power it back up, it will re-connect to the towers and your echoing problem should disappear. I learned this a couple of years ago and do it about every 3 or 4 months, and the echo has always gone away.

Me too. I get the echo about every 3-4 months and powering it off has always worked for me. I do not take the battery out but if powering off does not work alone. I will try that. Thanks

Thanks so much. I tried it, and had hoped it would help, but it didn't. The problem is still there. Any more ideas?

Yes, but not everytime. I never know when it will happen. It is very annoying when it does happen.

Sprint has outrageous charges, and they suck on top of that.

Change carriers. I left Sprint after 4 and a half years this week. Sadly, they have a lot of employees who are only there to draw a check. Poor company, with really poor service.

Happens quite frequently, and agree w/above post. I am spending way to much for this mess and they really screwed up my bill when I purchased the 3G card. Have spent too many hours in emails and phone conversation and dont need the headaches they provide. They sent me a new phone and it helped for a couple of weeks. So long Sprint

I like my Sprint service. I hate the echo I've had lately, but I'll remove the battery. I can't find a deal like Sprint's Everything Plan and when you are dependent on your phone for personal and business use you use a LOT of minutes. It's a deal in my opinion. Plus - I have the data plan on my Blackberry all included.

My husband changed to at&t for better service, because he travels alot. Two of our kids changed also. I'll be switching as soon as my time is up with sprint.

My phone was doing the same thing last weekend. It is very annoying. My service contract is about to be up so Sprint reps are calling me trying to get me to change my plan. Just another ploy to extend the contract.

The echoo is a problem that will be gone soon .The rep that is over this are said that it was because sprint is doing some tower work trying to cover some of the dead spots they will be building a couple of towers is what she told me . But u all are right about the customer service no one knows any thing about any thing at the call center that why I never use them .

What does "soon" really mean though?
