Seems he was tryin' to get himself a lil sum-sum from an undercover cop, no less.

When will people begin to realize that these churches are nothing more than a conduit for your money, and creeps who want to rape our children.
It makes me sick and I'm done with all of it.

Hello, I am one on Brian's students from this church. I am extremely shocked, Brian taught us to stray from the wicked ways like this, NOONE knew him to be like this, turns out, there are nasty pigs in the world but please, don't say that, one persons mistakes is not the same that everyone makes.. I am 17 and trying to find peace in this disgusting situation. He never tried anything on us children.. He merely made a mistake that ruins his reputation for life..

So you're just gonna go ahead and stay put, knowing that you have a known sex offender in your midst?

Guess he is human, we all make mistakes. Dont the cops have anything better to do than entrapment. There is no crime in paris for them to actually work on??? No thieves to catch. Its a shame, and I dont do the church thing Either, but i do pay taxes and have been a victim of local thieves who were NOT caught.

Sex offender, then every man on the planet is one. Was a child involved, force, or violence in any way? Or was he looking for no strings consensual sex between two adults, and yes it is consensual even if goods traded, heck most girls trade their bodies for security and a ring. Its called marriage.

It says a lot about a man's character when he drives from Paris TN. ALL the way to Graves Country for some action. Also, prostitution is not a victimless crime. Often, these women have no control over the situation that they are in, and are basically slaves to whomever their pimp is. And remember, this "man of god" did have access to kids. You never know what has been going on behind closed doors. If I was a parent of one of those kids, they'd never see the inside of that church, or any church, ever again. At least not as long as I have any control over it.

I've nothing to hide from anyone. I guess because I don't parade myself around as being something I'm not. And by that, I mean, here you have a person who has a captive audience and easily acquires the trust of those around him, because we give an unnecessary, and unwarranted amount of respect to these people. Just because they happen to be a man of the cloth, it doesn't mean that they are better or anyone else. Often, as this case highlights, they're pretty awful people. Not worthy of an ounce of trust, nor respect.

Just so we are all aware, as being part of this church my whole life, Brian has been there for 2 years. I would not go to say that the church take the blame for his poor choices. No one ever thought of him like that, he came in and changed many of the kids lives towards Christ and to say the least... No one even suspected this happening. Ever.. It's sad and we just need to e in the thoughts of everyone around who is affected by this.

Anne, Brian is one of my best friends. Hang in there girl. Keep your eyes focused on Christ. Not Brian or any other human. Humans will let you down. I know this is hard. Its been a gut shot to everyone.

Yes it sure has. And this leads to show, All we have is Christ.. I've learned not to look toward even our own mentors from this. Just Christ, that's all that matters.

Instead of trashing Brian I wish that all of you could spend some time praying for his family, his students and for him. It's none of our place to judge him for his actions.

My heart was broken to hear the news. I'm praying hard for the whole community of Paris as I know it affects everyone in some form or fashion there and people from all over that hear about it. Yes, it seems that Satan wins a lot of battles all around us; but be encouraged, fix your eyes on Jesus, and remember that He wins the war!!!

If you think the only reason a woman would trade physical encounters for profit, in this economy, is because they are trapped by some "pimp" then you need a reality check. This is the oldest profession known to man. Yes there is sex trafficking but the majority in these small communities are voluntary not forced. What about Nevada? perfect example.

Around here? Get real. These people have nothing better to do than spread gossip and drag people down. As if they're so perfect they've never done anything wrong.
