Does anyone know if the Paris Inn and Suites hotel is a good place to stay? Been by there a few times and the parking lot looks empty, but the rooms with the windows open look nice.

I went to Super 8 and the older woman at the desk told me it was a nasty place to stay, but when I asked her when the last time she stayed there she told me that she has never been there. So, why should I stay away from a place that this woman has never been too. "No Way" have you ever stayed there and if so, how long ago did you stay there?

Sometimes you just have to trust a recommendation. I choose not to talk about 'when' and 'why.' Just take my word for it.

And you might want to know they just had a federal tax lien placed so they don't even pay their share of what is required.

Like I said, just trust me.

What does them not paying their fair share have to do with the quality of the hotel?

I actually went ahead and stopped by there and spent the night. The guy at the front desk was nice, he gave up a recently remodeled room because it was my first time there. All of The employees were really nice. Even the house keeper talked to us while we were there and asked how we were enjoying our stay, recommended a few local places to eat. Even their security guy was nice. He stopped by and talked to me for a little while while he was making his rounds to see if I had any complaints or needed anything.

Their rooms are huge, it had to be at least 15x30 foot in there. Plus their checkout time isn't until 1:00pm. No other hotel that I have heard of does that. After talking to the manager, who also checked us in, he informed me that they had been working on cleaning the place up and working on improving their reputation that the previous owners had created. The owner and manager were both in the military, which gave them immediate respect from me since I am from a military family. And you can call me racist if you want, but one good thing about this hotel is that it isn't owned by a Indian.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a place to stay. Great room, friendly staff, very quite and safe atmosphere.

No, no one pooped in my shoes. I am surprised why they aren't more busy. It was a really nice hotel for what I paid.

This motel use to be Best Western and was always full. Then it was sold and name changed... business has gone down.

The current owners would do good if they went back to Best Western or another name brand.

The difference in what they would have to pay for the name would be offset by more business.

Paris needs another "high end" motel and probably sooner than later it's going to happen. Matter of time.

The owner is a doctor out of state. And if you stayed there, the reason you got such good care is because you were likely the only one there.

If you like the place, so be it but it IS NOT a great place to stay by my standard. So enjoy yourself. Stop again. They need the business. Maybe you can buy them some extra letters so they don't have to advertise "C ean Rooms" and "G eat Rat s."

People just like to down places. I think the new owners are very nice, they are trying to fix it up and make it a good place to stay again. It needed alot of work done and they are always working on it. beats the hell out of knights inn.

Knights Inn is full of prostitutes. I stopped there twice in the past couple of months and I had at least 3-4 different hookers walk by and ask if I needed company for the night. I ended up checking out and going to Paris Inn and it was quite up there. I told the guy at the front desk about my experience at Knights Inn and he informed me that they conduct security checks every hour and they have a security guard who walks around after hours to make sure no inappropriate behavior takes place. Paris Inn is my new place to stay when passing through.

I drive by it daily. It may not say that today but it said that for MONTHS. I counted tonight. 5 cars. Business is booming in that great motel.

Meese, have you ever stayed there? If not, I recommend that you try it for at least one night. I have stayed at all of the hotels in Paris at least once in the past few years and for the price, Paris Inn. The employees are a lot friendlier than the others, plus the rooms are huge.

That place is full of dope heads and drug dealers.....I know for a fact that one of the house keepers is a net head, the just got out of jail on drug charges send is back in there for violation of parole. The place was raided last week although I don't think any arrest were made this time. If your looking for a place to score some drugs....you came to the right place!!!!

I was there when that happened. She wasn't an employee. The raid you are referring to is where the manager called the cops on a room for smoking weed. If he wasnt walking around being proactive about what is going on in the hotel, then no one would have known. All hotels have drug problems. Even Hampton had a bust this summer in their parking lot for X. Super 8 has it all of the time, but they don't report it. I got that info from the older front desk lady that works there. And according to another poster on here, Knights Inn is full of prostitutes. Paris, TN in general has way to many drug users and dealers. At least one place is trying to do something about it.

Yes she was an employee..... That's how she was paying for her room she just got out of jail didn't have a job and no other way to pay for the room so she was cleaning the rooms for her pay. She is a meth head and she sells pills that's why she was in jail.

"OMG", are you an employee up there? Sounds like you are a little salty and have a lot of information about the on-goings of the hotel. And it sounds like you have a lot of information about that so called employee. Enough so-called information to either be a "friend" of theirs or someone who got burned by either that employee or the hotel itself. So which one are you? Either way, sounds like your opinion is biased by being wronged by one of the parties involved.
