Had lunch there today, got there at 12:30, ordered from the lunch menu, it took 35 minutes to get my food and it was as cold as ice.

been there several times and it is a 50-50 chance that your food is going to be cold or the wrong order, but when it is good it is good. they need to send their management staff somewhere for customer service training, last time there was a problem told the manger and he just said uhhhh , didnt try to fix or even apologize, made me so mad I didnt return til my in-laws had their anniversary there.

People, this is the way it is. Toms has been what it is for 37 years. Take it or leave it. That the way they feel too.

Yes, what has been said, both good and bad is true but it will not be different by complaining on this board.

They've been here the longest and they will continue to own the market. That's just the facts.

Went to Toms ordered spaghetti got a big bowl of noodles with a fourth cup sauce not enough to even to color the noodles. Manager said that's all that comes with the 3cups of noodles. Never been back
why its that way

the reason that it continues to have subpar service is because:

1. there isnt much else here
2. people here seem to accept it and willingly hand over their money
3. no one says anything.

I know that 90% of the people that can afford to go out and eat dont want to drive, have lost 75% of their ability to actually taste the food, and are just waiting for this life to be over. But it is really sad to know that when people visit or tourists come here this is the kinds of things they will remember about our town.

Cant we do any better? Doesn't any worker in this town have any pride or dignity?
Doing half-a$$ work, no matter what it is, shows nothing good about the worker or establishment. If I cared so little about myself and my community I wouldn't have a job, be able to hold my head up or meet anyone's eyes.

Its a disgrace, and it's a shame you are correct. It's just the way it is and we are teaching our children that this is an acceptable work ethic.

I worked there. IT SUCKED!! Boss was a dick and they let me go bcuz they were scared i was making too many tips. they are slow and they dont wash their hands. Health Dept needs to be called. I have tons of stories for the ppl, but choose to say nothing. My family wont eat there becuz of what they told them about me when i worked there which was all lies. dont waste your time or your money. not very sanitized but your choice. F@ck them!!!!!!!

i dont eat there much, but when i do i am always treated nice and my food is geat. sounds like some people were fired from there and are just talking bad about them. not everyone has the same likes or dislikes. if you dont like it, dont go back, but let people make up their own mind. they must be doing something right,they still own a business. if you can do any better, go open up a resturant and run them out of business. but if your that passionate about it, go to work there and make a difference.

Marketing 101 : one happy customer will tell several people, one unhappy customer will tell everyone the come in contact with.
Whole thing is a symptom of being to complacent by management and locals who are to tired to really care enough to complain.
Sometimes my food is great, though need to be near restroom almost 20 min on the dot afterward. Good or not. My bad experience was 9 mo ago manager was clearly unconcerned and rude, waitress was embarrassed but she was trying, even she was flustered by kitchen staff and her boss so what attitude, ended up watching everyone else at my table eat while they tried to figure out medium well and rare are 2 diff things. Maybe they got rid of him?
