Should be an easy hit, RJ's is full of trashy people like the rest of the Brewer St. bars.

There are several nice people that attend RJ's. Not everyone there is trashy or looking to get laid. BTW Gateway, I hope for your sake she is dumb as a rock, otherwise you dont stand a chance. Dating, not dateing. Her not here, here is a place. So, Sayin, where do you suggest people in this town go to shoot pool, throw darts, and just plain have a drink and hang out? Admittedly the karaoke isn't that great, a band or dj would be an improvement but the lighting is good, the competitions draw a decent crowd, and the owners are involved...what would you suggest and why? interested, since this is the only bar on brewer street i have entered and found the group okay, a little boring but not trashy or bad.

RJs is my favorite place to go...that is when I actually get out! The people there are nice and friendly and I always feel safe there. Its a fun environment and the bartender is great!

The nicest looking bar I have been in here is Fahrenheit 101. For some reason, its never crowded though, maybe not many people know about it but it is by far the nicest looking place in Henry County.

I know! Why do they close so early? They have a few pool tables and darts, but wonder why they close at 12 on a Friday night when other places stay open until 2 or 3. As nice as it is, you would think they would be packed! Anyone know why they close so early?

Will be staying in the Paris Landing area for the weekend. Is there any good/decent places close by to hang out at night to listen to bands? The Sugar Shack and Largo's use to be fun places but how about now.

hidden creek if you want to have a band, also meo mio has bands but closes early, check their face book, largo closed, the sugar shack is a dive bar that used to be strip club, if you want larger got to matts on 79 by lake, nice bar, decent lighting, not dance hall lighting, great frozen drinks, closes at midnight sometimes depends on crowd, go early and you can eat there...hope this helps.

Largos is opened again, its called Boondocks now. Sugar Shack has been torn down but was a nice bar . Meo Mios has music but never full bands. Dockside Bar has good bands, its on the road beside Kirks and is an outdoor venue, very laid back. Matts does not have bands although they do have dj music. B&D's which has been sold and under a new name has bands but close early. Not many places on into town have bands that I know of other than Fahrenheit and Hollywoods out on 641 south. Most of the places around the lake have bands early and close early. Breakers has bands but they are way over priced. In my opinion, either Dockside Bar, Hiddencreek, or Fahrenheit would be the most laid back places to go to chill out and enjoy a live band. However, I am sure others may have their own opinions, these are just mine.
