North Middletown Elementary School

I have been hearing more and more about issues/concerns about the principal at North Middletown and was wondering if anyone knew of anything going on.

i think that he is pretty nice.every time i have went to him about a problem it has been takin care of. What kind of stuff have u heard?

He is not concerned about the students but the appearance that he is trying to portray. Ask around and you will hear all kinds of stories about staff leaving for other schools to get away from him.

I have heard that several parents have gone to Mrs. Fryman and she is not concerned. I am interested in hearing what you have heard or experienced.

well my daughter has been bullyed in the school and mrs.fryman called my house and said that she was going to go and have a secion about bling but never did so i do not know they still make fun of her all the time and i think that it is bull if it does not stop soon then i will go clean that school out u know that is not suposed to be tolerated but they do nothing about it.

You are hilarious! You state in your threat that: "If it does not stop then you are going to clean that school out." Would that be by violence or some other way? Regardless, you are a bully yourself! Until parents stop showing bullying behaviors themselves, children will not stop doing the same. The law just requires schools to take steps to prevent bullying through teaching and counsel with those involved. Adults can not stop what comes out of kids mouths at all times of day. Sadly, parents of bullies do not enforce consequences and schools are very limited in the consequences they can offer. If you think it can totally be controlled by anyone you are so naive!

It amazes me all the staff turnover and no one is pointing fingers. Ask the teachers that left and they will tell you that they no longer could work under the stress. What does that say about the conditions for the kids?

I mean about cleaning that school out is by taking my child out of theire and there is alot of other parents are wanting to take there kids out and they are thinking very strongly about doing so.This little boy punch my girl in the nose and she hit him back and she got in trouble and he didn't that is bull.And i am not a bullie so if u do not know me then do not open your mouth.

i have 2 kids going to nmes i think its a good school it is better then the c r e s on the bypass my oldest kids went there when she was in the first grade she wasnt doing good at all they had her doing so bad that they told me i had to put her on meds for adhd so that next year i put her back in n m e s and wow did her grades ever come up so she does better in n m e s then c r e s this is my youngest kids first year ever in school but i guess this will be her last year in n m e s b/c they r moving the preschool program to paris i hate that too b/c nmes is like 10 mins away from me now she has to ride on a bus thats going to take forever to get to school she will only be 5 yrs old too

I think that all parents or others concerned about NMES should make an appearance at the next board meeting. The only way to be heard is to make them listen and show the board that we are serious and we need to be heard.

WHY the MAJOR renovations at Bourbon central Elementary School??? Why are 8 new classrooms neeeded? I heard the mobile classrooms were not being removed. Is North Middletown being closed and the students being bused to BCES????? That woudl explain the rush to complete the renovations at BCES.

Dont be surprised if that happens. She promised to close Millersburg and she did, so which school do you think is next? BCES is the only school she is concerned with. On the facility plans Millersburg was to be renovated and she closed it and Cane Ridge was the top priority. NMES was then the next one and now you see what happened. BCES is top so what do you think that means for NMES?

I think it sounds like the NMES teachers shoudl be looking for jobs.

It would be a crying shame to close that school. I am sure there are issues but that school is the heart of the community. Just go to one of their functions during the year, people come that don't even have children in school. I know it's not about that, but there is something to be said for a small school, I want all those teachers knowing my child's name. I just hope it stays for many years to come!

i went to north middletown elem. when i was little. i left in 2nd grade cause its the stupidest school there is around here. the teachers dont know what they are doing. i also got sick all the time there cause there is mold all over the place. i think they should close it its been around to long they need to re buil a new one.

North Middletown parents and concerned people need to come to the board meeting and be heard. I do believe that there is power in numbers

okay, here is the deal NMES was the best school, under Principle Connie Hudson. She really cared about the students and made personal connections. My little sister now goes to NMES and i have to say it has changed A LOT. I NEVER see Ramey around, and I believe that they are forcing the bookfair stuff a little to hard. I Loved NMES and was wanting my little sister to have the same experience and education i had. Yes, I did get a good education from a small little school. I think that the teachers used to be excellent but now since Ramey all has gone to hell. Ms.Smart left, my 2nd grade teacher, who was AMAZING! and im surprised more havenot followed

this is the first i ever been on this site. please someone tell what is going on with nmes. i have a daughter that goes to that school. and when she comes on from that school. she says that she wants to go back to cane ridge. and that she is not happy with the teacher.. and that they treat her really bad..

The issue is Mr. Ramey. He makes for a horrible school. Things were so much better when he was not there. He is running off staff, Ms. Bonnie is leaving because of him Ms. Joyce had to take medical leave because of the stress there. It use to be a fun place but the atmosphere there is so negative. Please ask your daughter what is so bad and please make Lana Fryman listen to your concerns that is the only way it will change.
