it got a little rough! There was a fight. Montgomery won 20 to 6 in eighth but lost 7th. BCMS torn up a float we had for homecoming.

BCMS did not touch any float, there was no fight, ref's did everything they could do to hand that game to McNabb! A ref was from Mt. Sterling and had a child on the McNabb team... Not to mention the people that was on chains from Mt. Sterling reeked of alcohol in the 7th grade game.

This is so stupid. It was a football game. Someone has to lose. The only thing that you people are teaching your children by acting this way is to have bad sportsmanship. They lost, so what. The McNabb 7th grade lost and I don't hear anyone complaining about that. No one complaining that the refs cheated. I don't know who the refs were but I do know that none of them had a child on the McNabb team. If they were going to call the game for McNabb don't you think that they would have for both games? And there was a fight. One boy from each team was ejected. And as far as the float. I don't think that anyone thinks that it was the players that tore it up. My son plays on the McNabb 7th grade team and on behalf of him and myself we want to wish the BCMS 7th grade the best of luck the rest of the season.

The men that were handle the chains were cheating or should I say trying to cheat because our 7th grade still won. Several parents saw them move the chains to give Mcnabb the first down. Then on top of that the woman that was also helping with chains called our kids idiots on the sidelines. Sportsmanship our kids have plenty of! It's some of the parents from Mcnabb that didn't have sportsmanship! One of the chain gang also told one of our parents that he would not make it out of the football game...what he meant by that I'm not sure but very unsportsmanlike! They should have never been aloud over there. That's why towards the end they stopped the game because our coaches told the refs what the chain crew was doing! 8th grade game I can't talk about because we left. But wish both 7th BCMS and 8th Mcnabb good luck in the conference!

I didn't say that any of the players had bad sportsmanship. I said that parents who act the way some do, who think that the only way they lose is because of someone cheating, are teaching their children bad sportsmanship. And when I was refering to the refs I was not talking about the people running the chains. They are not actually part of the officiating crew. I don't think parents or anyone else associated with either team should be allowed to run the chains, but they do.

That's great! At least they will get some playing time in middle. You can prepare them to sit on the bench while the out of district kids take their spot on the high school team.

Every single young man is from our district n the middle school teams. Do NOT act like you know what you are talking about. The one young man who transferred from high school, his father lives here and he moved here.

I know for a fact that the BCMS football team does have bad sportsmanship. After their win over are 8th grade team they were encouraged by parents and the coaches to go take cups out of the fence and tear them up and throw them all over the ground. All because they said BEAT BOCO. I thought that made the coaches and parents look real bad for encouraging and letting that happen. That is ok because karma comes back at ya!!!!!!

Really if we looked so bad tell me where your 8th grade middle school team was? Not in the bluegrass conference playoffs where are 8th grade team was in the playoffs. Besides your football program just started improving in the past two years. Besides we are talking about middle not high school. And any team would be good if they cheated like you all do. At least we have good sportsmanship. That's something you all don't have.
