Would go to Lexington before I would ever go out there. Not very experienced or educated people there.

We as a community are very fortunate to have a local ER with such experienced staff. People "out of the loop" have no idea of the lives that are saved by our local hospital ER. No local hospital can offer the specialty care of a large medical center BUT many local hospitals (including our own) can help sustain life until that sick person can be sent to a more specialized hospital in Lexington.

I have made a dozen or more trips to the ER in Paris, have always been treated with respect and had my probelems taken care in a profeeional manner. I think if you treat them with respest and don't try to tell them their jobs, you'll be fine.

I've had a nurse hand me my family member's pain medication before and tell me to "hang on to it" while she walked to the nurses station for 5 minutes. What and idiot!!! If I had been like some of these people around here only out to get their high I would have had it handed to me right there!! Not Professional at all!

sadly they treat EVERYONE that comes out there in pain as a pill seeker. See the Chronic conditions on the wall? Chronic conditions is one thing, but if u fall or hurt urself they treat you as "chronic". Don't hurt urself. they will do nothing and send a 300+ doctor bill.

Every once and awhile you might have a great dr and nurses on duty to take the time and test you throroughly prior to sending you home. All most of us simply ask.
