I wish Eads would carry more items. I always have a hard time finding things. They are nice as can be, but it is should be a better place to go than Walmart.

I probably worded that wrong. I by no means go to Walmart for hardware, I just think that Eads is a nice place and could be better.
They quit selling flowers and all. I always got them there.
Just a certain item like tomatoe plant stands.
It is a great place, sorry I just meant it could be better.
They close a little early for me too.

Sure miss the days of the old Bourbon Hardware, Bourbon Lumber and Brown & Epperson. They were the kind of old time businesses that had anything you might need and always had a friendly staff waiting to assist you. Not saying anything one way or the other about the Eads'; they are trying to survive in a world that has put most small business owners out of business and it's refreshing to find something other than a big box store in a small town.

Some of you people are crazy! I've been buying from Eads for years, and am in there often enough to know there is NO truth to your accusations! They are good people who do there best to keep you from going out of town for supplies. I too miss the old lumber yards, but am thankful to still have a local hardware store.

I like Eads Hardware. They are always helpful and have most of what I need in stock. I would like to see a Lowes, Home Depot, or an 84 Lumber move in. No, they don't have what those huge chain stores have, but they are well stocked for a hardware store.

As a contractor, here in Paris, I am grateful that they are here. They don't always have what I need, but most of the time I can save myself time and money by getting what I need from them. It is really nice to not have to go out of town for a board, some tinted wood filler, and other things.

They are fine folks and Todd has really stepped up his customer service over the past year or so. I am in there regularly and have never seen any sign of alcohol or drugs. Let your nonsense go and go strive for the level of success that the Eades family has attained. They are an asset to Paris.
