Marching Band is what puts that school in papers, But hopefully with the new Football coach things are looking Brighter.

But as for the Band, why don't you take your tale up there and practice one week, wait one day with them, and then make an opinion. Those kids work hard, long, intense, and they also support Basketball, Football games, Didn't see any those guys at Competitions this year, oh, wait there was a couple of boyfriends there.

There is more discipline with those kids than I have ever seen.

Go Marching Colonels.......!!!

Easy there "AMNOTR2", "Jeanna" was just correcting her own spelling mistake. Apparently you both love the band. Well done Marching Colonels!

I played football for coach hilton. There were many nights during half time i wanted to blow my brains out due to the BAND. Nobody likes the band but the people who play in it and the parents of the people who play in it and even some of the parents have shame in their eyes... is that crazy ms hail bitch still running shit and crying about the real athletes walking across the parking lot during her practice

I was correcting my mistake on spelling. It early in the morning from getting back from PaPa Johns so I messed up the word Marching. Take defense why don't ya. Think I was there watching the band myself.

Break it down further? what is the one thing that the band lacks this year. There is no leadership from any of the upper class. I have heard this from several parents in the band so it is just not from me. Nothing but bickering and how all the parents talk about one another behind each others backs. What a shame.

The kids DO BUST their behinds out there on the pavement day in and day out. Band Camp for example is probably more intense than the whole entire football team does all year. I applaud every kid out there working.

Am Not R 2 ? maybe you feel the same about me and just took the booed word wrong. I sure as I am siting here today would never display any rude comments about our band. They kick butt !!! I think we might be alike because we do NOT get the respect that the paper should do for us as they do for the sports. Two or Three pages worth ? come on that is a joke. I would love to see a 1/2 a page each week during marching band season on both Bourbon and Paris.

People do not understand it is just not only playing music but the Marching. Bourbon County does probably the MOST marching and playing at the same time than ANY other band I have seen over the last 7 years. To know you spot to know your notes to show your expression and the exhaustion that comes later .. but that feeling is so great.

Am Not R 2 .. do you find it like I do that it is sad that with the number of children that are in the band that only a hand full show up for the competitions ? I see so many other bands that are smaller and they fill the seats packed!!! We have some really good parents that help out and others that are just there to go with the flow.

I am glad you feel passionate like I do about our band !!! Now onto Bands of America !!!!! let us see if we can bring home the 1A Grand National Championship like last year.

See, its people like you that leave a bad taste in my mouth. If you put forth half the effort of those Band kids into your thoughts before you spoke out your butt, you would seem intelligent. But its evident you are not. The problem is today kids that act like you do not have respect for anyone or themselves, most are selfish, with low esteem, and most importantly jealous.

And as far as the Hale's (Not Hail, which is frozen condensation falling from the sky) they get the most respect from band members (players) and continue to show great admiration, dedication, self discipline and the utmost honesty, which, inturn, they recieve from their Marching Colonels.

I suggest you come and walk in their shoes for one week!!!!!
And maybe, you too, Can be proud!!!

Lord ain't nothing. As soon as we someone bashing our band we quickly take defense. I know I do. I could had worded differently instead of using the word boooed to say I misspelled the word but it was so darn late the brain wasn't thinking clear. Well that is typical of me though =)

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Capricorn

Someone is being very pedantic and picky, and they'll soon drive you round the bend with frustration. They're splitting hairs about all sorts of petty problems, but unfortunately you won't be immune from this yourself. You might get caught up in needless details that don't really matter, or take everything that happens very personally. Try to be more objective.
