Welcome back! I did what I could to help with that "situation" we had going on. Glad to see you back, and hello to everyone else too!! What's the deal with things now? I've stayed off of here in hopes of at least keeping my own stalkers out of the mix. Dang those full moons, it brings out the diseased minds, LOL! Anyway, hopefully this thread is going to be more peaceful now.. I've missed talking to you good folks.
On another note: I tried my darnedest to catch sight of some meteors the other night. It was a cloudless sky, we live in the middle of no where and there isn't any city lights to interfere. Yet I saw not a single one! Last year I think it rained, and the one before that was cloudy. I was really looking forward to catching a few glimpses of some "falling stars", as we used to call them when we were kids... I don't have a single clue why they weren't visible here. And I tried intermitantly from 11 p.m. right up to 2:30 a.m. So did anyone else see any, or was it just my household that got unlucky?
Hello "Nope", glad to see you back too. I think a lot of the posters will come back once they see there are not huge gaps between posts and less nonsense to scroll through. I appreciate anything you tried to do. If we could lose the last two haters we would be back to normal again. I know there will always be a couple feeling it necessary to spew some hate for no reason. What sad characters.

Hope everyone is enjoying the rainy day if they have some rain. I am. I love how fresh it smells outside. And green, green...love it. I hate it for all the drought stricken states and for Western Kentucky.

I went out several times between midnight and 3am and never seen one shooting star (still call them that myself lol). The sky was so clear and full of stars. Nothing. Maybe next time. lol

Hope you have a great day!:)

The best thing to do in the case of these trolls is not to reply or comment.
(Yeah, I know... I'm guilty as charged, but sometimes they just leave themselves SO wide open, hehe)

I'm also hoping that this thread can get back on track! I'm very glad to see this thread finally turning back around! I have so much fun chatting with you regulars on here. And I agree that the regulars with common sense and courtesy will come back around soon.

If I see any of them on the other threads, I'll try to round 'em up.

By the way: Ancient Wolf, did you get any of those chicks hatched? I don't see an update, but then again it might be too far back and I really don't want a plate full of spam and crackers for an hour just to go backwards in this thread, hehe!
It was half and half. I got three chicks to hatch but the other three must not have been fertile. They were from various hens.

you are correct. the hijacker/haters are slowly but surely trying to return it to the gab gab session theatre. total B/S and "we" own this topic.
after 6 posts in a row from you in an hour and no one is responding to you I was beginning to feel sorry for you. You must be an awfully lonely chap if how you present yourself here is how you are in real life. Turn off your computer, grab yourself a snack, stretch a bit, walk upstairs and get out of your basement and go out and take a walk in the sun for once. Even consider talking to the first person you see and maybe make a new friend, it will do you some good.

It could be that they might even find that life is worth living instead of being an improperly spelled and pretentious "haint".

I think most are still reading and following this thread but just not posting, awaiting the troll storm to pass. Now that it has subsided I think you will see them come back.
So let's get back on track and talk about something interesting and important. This thread is wide open, what would you like to discuss?

I am pretty much done, was a bad year for our garden. Not enough rain and then too much. We have planted some late corn so I hope it does well.

I did about a 1/2 acre of sweet corn that did quite well. But I got it set out before it got too dry. I won't do any more corn. That and tomatoes is about all I did. I still have plenty of beans left from last year so did not do any this year.

That's some good advice. Hello Ah tan! How are ya...Hello to everyone else too.
It looks like we got the dog days the first three weeks of summer this year. The last two or three days have either come of as fall-like or early summer...BEAUTIFUL!
I just saw the weather forecast and it looks like more of the same.

August 13, 2012 Red tide?

Jamaica Beach, Texas – Thousands of dead fish have washed ashore on Galveston, Texas area beaches. Rotting fish have been found by the thousands from the Colorado River to Galveston Island. Parks and Wildlife biologists believe low oxygen levels may be to blame for the sudden influx of thousands of dead fish on Texas beaches, KHOU News reports.

Texas beach visitors were startled by both the sight of the dead fish and the smell of the rotting sea creatures. Biologists are testing the saline, oxygen and pH levels in the wateways along the Texas Coast.

“When something’s affecting one fish then usually a lot of them are being affected at the same time because it’s such a big group swimming in schools together,” Texas Parks and Wildlife representative Steven Mitchell told KVUE News.

Biologists will not be sure if low oxygen levels are to blame for the thousands of dead fish dotting the beach landscape until water up to 10 miles from the shore can be tested as well. The deep water oxygen level testing is expected to take several days to complete, KVUE notes. The Texas State Health Department temporarily closed Galveston Bay to shellfish harvesting today due to the possibility of a red tide which could have played a role in the massive amount of dead fish which surfaced on area beaches.

Although state wildlife biologists have noted the dead fish on Texas beaches do not pose a public health hazard, many vacationers and locals alike are reportedly shunning the normally beautiful area of South Texas until the dead fish are removed. The thousands of dead fish which washed up on Jamaica Beach and other Galveston area beaches include shad fish and Gulf Menhaden.

i am your special hant wolfie. i am the hant of your ancestor and i don't like you smoking my pipe. there is a lot of history behind that pipe. when i wasn't smoking it i kept the stem crammed up my hind end to keep someone in camp from stealing it while i was asleep. i told you not to smoke my pipe.
That stem could've been the likely cause of an unsavory disposition. Where do you keep your water-bong when you sleep?
