Christians Don't Believe In Karma

God tells us not to be deceived that He is not mocked, each of us will reap what we sow.
Josie Brooks will most certainly use God's words as a weapon to bash my sister because she suffered from alcholism, & I am glad her cruelty can hurt Kathie no longer..
How sweet that Josie learned of my husband's stroke on Facebook where I posted about it to friends.
He is well Josie, & God has been there through all of this & loves us both very much..
You & your Grand daughter can continue to hate, or not...that is your choice, a sad one but your baggage not mine, passed on to your Grand daughter.
What a legacy you will leave her if your heart does not change.

You can go on with your righteous indignation Jan...Kathie ruined 3 peoples lives in her 53 years here and you don't ever seem to be concerned with how it has affected them...it's just about YOU. So you can try to scrape up sympathy but it's not there in Paris. Amanda has no hate and lay your filthy tongue off her...you have damaged her enough with your hatred of Terry. She has only disgust for you that you would treat her brother, her mothers son, in such a vile manner. DuaMe...not on facebook...it came to me from another facebooker that is a relative of your hubby. We all have our sources!! And God hates the sin..not the sinner and I hope that you have to atone for all the vile filthy things you have said about Terry!! He is a GREAT person...but you never spent any time trying to find out did you. You can quote the Bible but you certainly don't use it in your everyday life. One can see from the topix insinuations of Terry...

Christians do not ignore the problems in their family and then point the finger at someone else when trouble arises.

Most of us would have done the same thing Terry did in acting in self defense. The law is not always right. If he had not defended himself, we would be seeing Kathie in court--and more of Jan's antics.
We have appeals for this reason--to overturn wrongful judgments. I hope that it is elected to appear this verdict to a higher court.
People like Jan are the worst kind of hypocrites: Quoting the Bible but acting in the most un-Christian way imaginable. Jan and factless, what a pair. So is factless satisfying Jan's "needs" now that DuaMe is out of the picture? Explains a lot.

Appealing the verdict is a long shot. I don't understand why you keep calling the verict unjust? He was judged by his peers and they found that beyond any reasonable doubt he committed 2nd degree murder. 20 months of running your mouth and now what? Where do you go from here squirrel?
New Evidence Will Not Be Allowed
Appeals courts make decisions based on the transcripts of the original trial and the appeals documents submitted by your lawyer and the prosecutor. You cannot call witnesses, give testimony or submit articles into evidence.
Your appeal will be decided by a judge, not a jury. In most cases, the judge will simply review the documents and make a decision without allowing oral argument. If the court agrees to hear oral arguments, it is generally thought that the defendant has a better chance of winning the appeal.
Winning an Appeal May Lead to a Retrial
If you win on appeal, your conviction may be overturned and you may walk free. On the other hand, the appeals judge may simply return your case to the trial court for a new trial. You may then proceed with the new trial or, if the prosecutor is willing, you might negotiate a plea bargain.
Depending on why you appealed your case in the first place, the appeals court judge may uphold your conviction but send your case back to the trial court for a new sentencing hearing, where you might receive a more lenient sentence.

Jan must you keep this up? are you wanting people to feel sorry for you because YOU were not there for your sister? In your post you try and make people beleive that you and Kathie were inseperable sisters! I knew your sister for over 20years I never heard her mention your name, I knew she had a sister but never did I here her say a name, you were never talked about!
Kathie had good in her I know I seen it! But in reality Kathie was ILL whether you want to admit that or not ALCOHOLISM is a diease it's an illness Jan, Kathie needed help but didn't know how to get the help she needed on her own because she was an alcoholic and she abused prescription drugs. Kathie taught her son allot thats one of the reasons he is so intelligent, everything can not be blamed on Kathies illness when I look at the WHOLE picture in the start of this there was more good that came from Kathie as the years went by and the addiction to alcohol become more and more and prescription drugs became more and more Kathie's outburst became more vilolent. You keep saying that you don't want Kathies issues of her Illness to be in this tragedy but had the alcohol and prescription drugs took her over! had it not this tragedy would not have happened. If you love your sister as you say you do then let her rest in peace! Have you ever thought what Kathie would honestly think about some of the statements and actions you have taken? Kathie loved her son! as he loves her!
