What amazes me is that you could care less that a retiring county employee was recognized for his service! How about you go do that job...put your life on the line for the safety of the county. Let's see how you feel about that! Obviously from your post anyone can see you are not a Motley fan....no reason to bash what appears to be a honor to someone who gave service to this county! I suppose you would have prefered that Motley ignore the fact he was retiring so you could complain about that also. As for the picture...do you really care so much about the fact there is a picture and he is in uniform OR are you just unhappy your guy didn't win. I don't think a picture, regardless of who took it is going to break the county fortune. I am sure Motley pays his fair share of taxes to the county, that is public information...if you are intested in that just go check it out.

And clearly you didn't read the last two sentences of my post or you would know that it really wasn't about the picture. That column had two sentences honoring the county employee and a whole paragraph of self-glorified ramblings.

You certainly don't have a clue...the article I read was very supportive of a retiring county employee. I believe the sheriff commented how many years the retiring employee had worked for the county and under numerous sheriffs AND thanked him for his service! As for the picture...goes to figure you would throw that in and then say it wasn't about the picture..Ha Ha. Maybe in the future, our sheriff should just sit back and not recognize his employees for the good they do. There wasn't a word of self glorified anything that I read. Maybe you read a version of your own.

Courtney Utterback told her friends that she was going to get a lawsuit against the county the next time she was in jail. That is a fact, I was told about it before she went in. Fact, Courtney utterback is a lesbian and will not have sex with a guy. Fact, Jason and Kent would never do what they are being accused of, I have known both of them for 22 years and I will always believe them. Fact, there is no evidence against them to prove this happen, only a couple things that make it look weird but not wrong. These charges will never stick and then they will be suing the county and they state and us tax payers will have to pay for the State being gungho on this.

If Jason is not guilty, why was he trying so hard to avoid giving a DNA sample? If I was not guilty, I would want to give my DNA to prove that I did not do the crime.
There is no reason, for DNA to be given. It would only allow the government to have it on file forever. If this would have had happen and there was some type of DNA evidence then that would mean that someone did not shower the whole time they were in there to perserve the DNA. The argument could be he could have shot a load on her clothing and it was there when she got out. From the video's I have seen from the jail and from my experence's in the jail, she was not wearing street clothes on this stay at the jail.
I can tell you for sure that she had a plan to get a lawsuit against the county before she went back her second time, I heard about it before hand. But, when we look at the big picture "Who Cares about the truth?"

As long as someone's name gets drugged through the mud and have their live ruined so we have something to talk about.

Well you must be pretty tight with the Sheriff because I understand the part where you stated "Maybe in the future, our sheriff should just sit back and not recognize his employees for the good they do", he is already doing. Several people have told me that he let one of the part time guys go that has been there for a long time for no reason. I hope this is not the start to a bad road for the rest of the employees that work there.

I hope we never have to pay the current sheriff a pension!! He already is living like a king if you know what I mean!! Don't vote the Idiot back in next time or we will be paying him it... I see they installed a new back door at the county jail, so the new Sheriff can get his head through it!!

Actually...I am not "tight" with the sheriff..unless you mean I voted for him just like 3000+ other voters. It was time someone new had a look at the goings on in the county than to allow things to continue as they were and to be swept under the rug. As for his staff...I would think things will get "shaken up" a bit. I guess if you don't like the way he does things, you could run for sheriff in 4 year.

Unlike Federal positions, I think you have to work longer than 4 years in county office to receive a pension. Go to a county board meeting and ask.
