Frontier Internet Problems.. anyone else?!

My internet keeps going off and on and off and on. Back and forth all the time! I'm curious.. am I the only one with this problem? I would like to know before I call them to deal with this

Check your connections---sounds like a loose wire into your computer, modem, or phone line.

Yes, we have had this same issue for the past 2 days. We get an off and on error 105. When we contacted Frontier they said it was happening in our area, however they resolved the issue. We rebooted our modem followed step by step directions. Worked like a charm for 20 mins. Now we are back to the off and on thing. Very frustrating!

Have had lots of problems lately with Frontier internet. Probably will be switching to New Wave.

Hi we have frontier as well and are in the Indiana area we have the same problem only this has been occuring for months. It turns out that everytime it happens it ends up being frontiers mainframe. Gonna switch as soon as a different isp is in our area. You will half too call them and they will send a maintenence man too fix it

This has been a huge problem for us and it is getting worse.
We thought it was our equipment and changed it.
We contacted the company and they have been less than helpful..
After purchasing new equipment, having a tech come and check our line, it is the provider.
They are not providing the service we are paying for and we run a business on the internet with chronic interuptions.
We are going to contact the better business bureau and the attorney general's office to report the problem as we have had no luck with Frontier.

From Lake Stevens, can't get ANY other isp where I live. Frontier is trash and the past week has been nothing but problems.

Don't get your hopes up Newwave is a joke too. Its like they practice at being a provider, I wish we had a provider who didn't need practice.

I have had New Wave since May and have had very few problems. It does go out with the weather sometimes, but it si always back on the next day. I am very satisfied

Have had trouble for months, dropped frontier and installed a 30 meg connection with new wave. Wondering now why i did not do it sooner.

Switch to mediacom and get high speed internet for $10 a month for the 1st year. Problem solved!
