Judge dismisses prostitution charges

Charges were dismissed against these women after a judge ruled there wasn't enough evidence against them An Albuquerque judge threw out the case against six alleged prostitutes and after an APD tactic used to bust them backfired.

So i guess APD should just focus on one type of crime. I guess they should let traffic enforcement go and drugs and burglaries so every officer can dedicate their attention to violent crime. You people will complain no matter what. Crime is out of control all over the country not just Albuquerque. Most of the people who commit crime in Albuquerque have been locked up numerous times. I can gurantee over 90% of them did not do a significant amount of time in jail. When bad guys face a maximum sentence they know they will not do half of that. The police are arresting these monkeys over and over and they continue to commit crimes. I put the blame on the liberal judicial system.!!!

I agree! These "innocent" women are tried and convicted by this website, a "worthy, trustful" source of journalism. I thought "guilty" meant "guilty", not "alledged". I'm not saying what they did was right, but according to the legal system that screwed up, they're "not guilty".

I very Much agree. The Need of that Type of service is greatly needed in the Abq area .If it was Leagle as it is in Sparks ,Reno ,Nevada this would not be a problem
