To clarify: a restraining order means no contact between either parties involved. This mean party A cant contact party B and party B cant contact party A even through party C for any reason. If either party tries it is a violation of the order. Party A can drop complaint day of court but until then said party still can not have contact with party B in any way.

If didn't understand the rules of the game then you shouldn't play.!!!!!!!

Party A needs to stop calling friends of party B and telling them to have said party call. That is violation of order. PERIOD!!!!! Besides party A cant be forced to sign signature on the order by parents, all "adults" involved are over the age of 18.

Party B needs to grow up and stop using party D (topix) to get a message to party A. By doing so, party B is just as guilty of violating the order. DUMBASS.

You're the dumbass for assuming you know what you are talking about. Party B is complying with the restraining order or did you not read that part! Party A is trying everything they can think if to get party b to violate the order but party b is not falling for the trap party a is trying to set so party b goes to jail. No names mentioned either, just a general statement being made. So unless you are like party A and are GUILTY for doing this then how would you know who was being talked about?#owned

Seems party b is following the restraining order and party a is not. Definately needs to report party a to the police. Shouldnt have got the restraining order if not going to comply with it. Waste of police and courts time and tax payers dollars.

For sure either the person is trying to get the other one put in jail or changed their mind. I hope whoever got the restraining order goes to jail for breaking it and contacting by 3rd party or for wasting judges time. Person it is against needs to get all the people to go to court and testifying that the one has been using them to contact the other one.

How stupid are you? I didn't see where anyone was contacting party A thru topix. It is a public forum, person just stated facts. How do you get party b was using topix to contact party a. Maybe it was posted by party c (one of the friends being used to do party a's dirty work) as a wake up call saying "i'm not getting my freind in trouble because of you" or "by you asking me to contact on your behalf , you are breaking the order" or for that matter it could be just a public service announcement.

. Yes owned because you just admitted you are guilty of such a thing. 1. You must be party A or 2. you assume this is about you. However, do you actually know how many restraining orders get served every week? I think someone 1. has a guilty conscience, 2. thinks everything is about them or 3. Wants this to be about them for attention.

Agree with you. If party A has gotten the restraining order and is trying to contact party B. then party A is breaking law and needs to go to jail. If their not going to follow the orders than they shouldn't have gotten one. It just wasted the time of the judge and the police officer for serving the papers. When they could be dealing with real crime.JMO

Sounds to me like party B is doing what they should and having no contact. If your a friend then your doing the right thing by not helping get them for violating the order. I think the other poster had a good suggestion by the friends getting together and let the judge know that the person with order is breaking it. Especially if you know they are going to have the person arrested for contacting them.

Could party A have the order dropped against party B? Just wondering because if they could then why not do that than party B wouldn't break order by calling party A.

Sounds like party B put it on part A way too good. Lesson learned, next time hold back a little on the sugar loving so you don't wind up with a completely addicted stalker. Trust me, I know.

that explains it. This post is about a restraining order not order of protection yet you get on here airing your dirty laundry and making this all about you. Starved for attention? But do yourself a favor. Call the police department and ask them if you are allowed to contact the person you have the order of protection against. If so quit having friends call and do it yourself as you say you ignorant fuc**. You are clearly childish and immature if you see where this post was about you in the first place.

As long as they are not contacting you directly, it is not a violation unless the parties contacting you are listed in the order too.

police said "party a can not contact party b for any reason, not even by 3rd party and party b can not contact party a by any means either" for example jill has order of protection against jack. Jill can not for any reason call jack or have sue call and say jill wanted me to call you for her or jill said to tell you .......nor can jack contact jill or have sue call for him. No contact period. No texts, calls, voicemails, messages, emails. All defeats the purpose of the order of protection or restraining order to begin with.
