I am a low income person, I receive disability. My children are older now. I do have a problem. I have a 3 year old grandson. I need a Christmas Tree, decorations. And gifts for my grandson. He has 2 working parents who can barely pay rent on they're minium pay job. So he won't get much from them this year. I'm proud of my grandbaby's mother she' working 2 jobs and going to school. Calebs dad is in Wrightsville prison. That's my son. Any gifts would be so much appreciated. He wears size 3 toddler clothing and size 14 shoes. He loves for me to read to him. He loves cars and trucks, I was wishing I could get him a jack in the box and a childrens bible. 3 year olds are not to hard to please. He needs educational toys teaching him shapes, sizes and colors and how to count and ABC's. I am praying that God will let someone who can help me give my grandson a great Christmas. I pray God will just touch someones heart, that reads this. God Bless you and May everyone have a wonderful holiday season. You can respond to me personally at my e-mail address [email protected] Thanks again...

Mrs. Johnston, I am very sorry to hear about your little one not going to have a Christmas, but in fact he does everyday. He has a grandma and a mom who loves him very much and a God he can talk to anytime he wants to.

I have a little bit of a problem with part of your post. You stated that the grandson has 2 working parents and then go right on in the next sentence or two and state that the boys dad is in Wrightsville prison...thus how can he (the dad) be a working parent? I applaud the mother of the little one for trying to make things better for her and her son and wish her the best.

There are many many little children who will not have Christmas this year, but sad as it is to say, there are also many children who don't have a loving grandma and mother like this little one does. I wish the best for all of you. God Bless you little family.

This is a scam, someone tryig to get something for nothing, you can clearly see that she lies when she says he has two working parents, then goes to say that the dad is in prison, then she says that the mom is working two jobs and going to school, well, that is a lot of money, at $7.25 an hour, she can afford to buy her kids some presents. If someone like that cant pay there rent, there must be something wrong. maybe drugs?

How can Huddly House just pay 3.00 an hour. I heard a girl the other day say she makes 7.00 an hour. I think you are all scammers and want something for nothing. Try giving up your drugs.

The waitresses make $3 an hour and have to make up for the difference in tips. She may make $7 an hour AFTER tips. Also, the cooks and other jobs make at least minimum wage at Huddle House.

What the hell is wrong with you people? Someone has came on here asking for help and this is all you have to say? You people should be ashamed of yourself. Paragould is not a community, it's just a gossip central. If I were in the area I would definitely help you out. I know what it's like to be in need and have no one to turn to. Apparently none of these people know what that feels like. And to the person that wrote try givin gup your drugs..... how dare you assume that just b/c someone is POOR that they are spending all their money on drugs. I feel sorry for all of you ignorant people.

Also, what you can do it contact the Daily Press. They do this thing every year to help out families with children who can't afford to give them a decent Christmas. They'll ask you how old your children are, what their clothing sizes are and what they really want to get as gifts for Christmas, then they put it in the paper and people can "adopt" that child or children and get them the gifts that they want and clothing. It is such a blessing for families that can't afford to give their children the Christmas they deserve. So just contact the paper and ask them when they will be doing it this year.

You know I adopted 2 familys last year. And I went to the Daily Press to do so. What I like about doing it there is they actually list the peoples income. Many people such as myself are leary of adopting someone who may not need it and the family that does, doesnt get help. I am going to try to adopt a family again this year but I dont know if I can or not. We have 5 kids to buy for to and a slew of neices and nephews. It's rough on every one this year.

First thing you should do if you're so broke is get your fat a$$ off of the computer and cancel your internet service. But no, you can't do that because you're used to handouts and you think you deserve them. Typical f*cking loser!
