I recently had a bad experience with Westside Auto out west of GCT. Has anyone else dealt with them? They had my vehicle three weeks and I was told that it was repaired. It is not.$200 bucks for NOTHING!

It is a nightmare out there! No place to park vehicle safely or even turn around. I was not impressed and probably won't be back. There are too many other places to go that are alot more reliable.

They took us for around $600.00. I reported them to the BBB and they wouldn't respond to the BBB. I wont be going back. I have never seen such a disgrace. I would be ashamed to work there or own this shop.

Going by the grammer and phrasing in these post I have a feeling most are written by the same person.
But I do have to ask why anyone would take their car to a shop that looked like west side.It looks more like a junk yard that a repair shop. I'd say you got what you ask for.

They told me that they had a part in stock, so I sent my husband out to pick it up. When he got there, the guy said that he would be back in 45 minutes with it. If it wasn't there, why tell someone it is?

You haven't figured out that ploy yet? They ALL do that, to some extent, even the parts stores. They usually use the phrase "had to go to 'our warehouse' to pick it up." translated means they had to go to another parts store down the street that has a much larger and better inventory than the one you were at.

for your info he has an actual salvage yard on the other side of town with 150+ vehicles in it , and for the other ppl posting about him being slow, he put a motor in my brothers truck, charges 100 dollars less for the motor than all the other salvage yards quoted and also less to put it in than the other garages asked, and had it done in a day and a half

Well good luck. You get what you pay for. I, too have filed a complaint with the BBB. We'll see what becomes of that.

FYI. I was never rude until I could not get a straight answer after 3 weeks. I will admit that I was more than a little frustrated after 3 weeks and no attempt to repair my venicle. That is not good business!
