Can you believe Obama appointed two devout muslims to head our homeland security?
It was devout muslims that flew the planes on 9/11.
I sure hope everyone that voted for this whatever he is can see what a terrible mistake they made.
If he has his way it will soon say in Allah we trust on our money.
Lord help us all.

He's already been appointing "his people" all along, but you're sure right about this being one of the worst possible places for them. The America haters who keep supporting him and his treasonous acts are scum.

Yeah, I don't think this is accurate. Radicals sure, but not muslims.

Hmmm, I just googled this story to get some facts before responding.

All I could find was right wing spin sites that had anything on it, and they were soooo biased, yet even they state that these two appointees are both being pulled up from lower level homeland security positions. Neither are "HEAD" positions as stated by the OP, and ...

Arif Alikhan is formerly Deputy Mayor of Homeland Security and Public Safety for the City of Los Angeles. He was appointed to the position by Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa in November 2006, replacing Maurice Suh who formerly held the position.[1] Prior to this job, Alikhan worked for the United States Department of Justice as the overseer of a computer hacking program.[1] Alikhan has also been the Vice Chairman and Executive Director of the Justice Department's Intellectual Property Task Force.

... AND for Kareem Shora

Director, Legal Department & Policy
American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee
(Non-Profit; 11-50 employees; Non-Profit Organization Management industry)

June 2004 — October 2006 (2 years 5 months)

Responsibility of supervising five in-house attorneys in addition to responsibility for establishing, and advocating for, the organization’s legal policy work within the civil rights movement and with federal government agencies and Congressional offices in addition to responsibilities as Legal Advisor.

Both appointees were actively performing their duties under the Bush Cheney administrations. If they were ok with W, whats your beef?

Hey the maj. that killed those people at fort hood was a devoted military man planted by the muslims years ago just as the pilots of 9/11 prove me wrong and I will be the first to say I am sorry.
And I hope for the sake of America that i am wrong.
But i don't think so.

I'm not saying you're wrong because I have no idea if that is true. However, surely they didn't plant him there with this being the ultimate goal? He could have strapped a bomb on and blown up hundreds of soldiers but he didn't. This couldn't have been their grand scheme.

There was a lot of bitching about that. I heard Micheal Savage raise hell about it on his radio show for weeks.

Daily Horoscope for January 1

Sagittarius

Happy New Year, Saggitarius! Despite the headache, your motivation level is high today, setting a trend for the rest of the year. You'll be surrounded by relatives and friends all year and will work passionately to help them, as you do. Things go smoothly today, and you're absorbed with the duties of new year. Be careful that you don't neglect your own health, though. You can't help others if you're run down.
