not true theyre not closing this teleflora down theres no way ok city and philipines could handle the call volume teleflora isnt dumb bussiness yes they are laying off and yes alot of people are losing jobs but as always it is to be expected from teleflora those who do not keep up thier close rates will disappear its a viscious cycle but its bussiness. there has been a call center in the philipines for a long long time its new and theyre not sending all the calls there they dont even speak english well enough to take all the orders teleflora would lose to many customers and would be a not so smart move on thier part, the econemy sucks right now and just like other places here in town they feel it too. so those of you saying theyre moving to the philipines lol get a grip theyre not , maybe you didnt make it at telelflora but its no reason for you to put others in panic when its not true

You got laid off because YOU kept screwing up all of my orders so I kept getting FREE flowers. Now pray real real hard and you might get another job.

Bev has had to cut down on her hours to care for her mom and elderly
aunt. She may have even quit by now. She may be a priss but she is a sweet, caring person, if you knew her you would know that. Your name must fit you.

She was really sweet. She actually didn't get fired or anything, she retired bc they had a party for her downstairs.

Bev is a wonderful person and I knew the difficulties she faced. I think she did the right thing and made a choice to care for her folks. Bev, your in my prayers along with all the employees that were laid off.

I work with Bev, she retired and was asked how they could work with her to keep her. She did what she needed to do for her family, she is a lady and awesome....

Please don't tell me I have no right to talk since I did not vote, there was absolutely no choice for me!!!#2 I hope Teleflora got rid of Shelly!!!

I worked there for almost a decade. It used to be a really fun place, but the last 3 or 4 years, I just couldn't stand going into work. I prayed to be laid off every day. They haven't "laid off" a tech person in years in Arkansas. They cleaned out the mess of techs in OKC. Every few years, Teleflora cleans out the employees that are paid more than the others in their position,*unless* your performance is stellar, at that point, it's a tossup. I've seen great people go and be replaced with not so great. In the layoff back in 2003, a woman threw her keyboard. They really screw everyone. The economy never hurt them. They profitted more, year after year through the mess from 2008-2010, as they continue to. They pay their employees bullshit pay for what they do. When I left, at almost 12 dollars an hour, after almost 10 years, I realized most people there are wasting their time. I worked in 3 departments through my years there, Consumer Direct, which is a garbagecan, Upgrades, and Support for their horrible, crappy, overpriced florist POS systems.

little miss priss as you call her, beverla stovall, quit teleflora over 3 years ago , her own decision to take care of her mother who was ill and also her ailing aunt-she did not get the boot....check your info before you comment, you dumb ass-and she took very good care of them until they sadly passed away. as for the rest of you, her name is not "beverly", it is "beverla". she is a wonderful person and friend. and doesn't mind being called little miss priss. she thinks you people are hilarious... and doesn't read topix anyway---- get a job!!!!!!!

teleflora is slowly moving all positions, except for the installers to the phillipians. they will deny it but they have 4 tech support departments, customer service and call out there now and are slowly moving all there. I believe the goal was to have it done by the end of 2011. they pay a tech support rep. starting $11 here and $4.50 there. i know because i was fired and someone in the phillipians is now doing my job.
I love how people start rumors. There was, I say again WAS 2 support call centers in the PI, but they are now shut down. There was NO Goal in any way shape or form. Many of the Paragould staff are now working from home for order call out. The support staff still works in the building. TF is now the Largest Floral company in the world and will continue to grow.
