As a matter of fact I was. But that had a little to do with being able to stick to the point. That's something your pitiful little argument hasn't been able to do.
You still Fail.
Try again, "Einstein".
I guess your name calling and talking about my mother is sticking to the point? Hmmmmmmmmm, interesting

The point, "brain-donor", is that you sadly failed to grasp the fact that your argument is a false dichotomy. It's not either-or. It says nothing about an "after-life" or not because that isn't the point. There could be an infinite number of possibilities, some with "after-lives", some without. All different but every bit as likely as the one you insinuate. And that would leave your dumb ass in the same position as a non-believer. That's why your argument fails. Now see if you can generate enough energy in your one lonely thought particle to work on that a while.

My goodness friend. This debate could be so much better if you could get past the name calling. You have thoughts on the subject and so do I. Granted they differ, but that should not lead to insults taken to the extent of talking about someones mother. Your statement of "that would leave your *****in the same place as a non-believer" is exactly right. If there is nothing past this life, we are in the same boat, but if there is, I believe our journeys will be much different. I can't prove that, but neither can you. I hope that helps.

Actually, this "debate" could be so much better if you would just quit shifting responsibility. S/He never claimed the WAS an afterlife<--YOU did....so prove it. You claim a positive it becomes your responsibility to prove it. You claim an afterlife...well, prove it.

You have made an incorrect assumption that I'm the author of the posts referenced above. You and guest2 continue to use personal attacks, which is not necessary. I would suggest that you seek counseling, because I fear you may have an anger management problem. You may not, but I think it would be worth the time to get a professional evaluation.

In post #124, I state neither side can prove there is, or isn't, an afterlife. I have faith there is an afterlife. You have faith there isn't. I do appreciate your post above, which includes no personal attack. Thank you

Because you continue,...that's "Continue"....to miss the point entirely. That can only be for one of two reasons. 1. Either you're too stupid to understand the argument, in which case they're not attacks, but observations. Or 2, You're intentionally being antagonistic, therefore personal attacks are warranted. Take your pick.

I think this sums it up quite nicely:

For those Atheist who are 100% convinced that God does not exist, Pascal's Wager is unconvincing. However, If one accepts that the probability of the existence of a wrath-filled God is, say, one in 100, then the Wager still makes some sense. A 1% chance at eternity in Heaven is still better than a 1% chance at Hell or a 99% chance at nothing. So, this weakness of Pascal's Wager is only valid if one can prove that God does not exist. Only a person who is omniscient could do that. There are no humans who have reached this level.

Isn't wrath one of the 7 deadly sins??

Your faith is based upon the same wishful thinking of a 5 year-old's in Santa Claus. 6,000 yrs and you STILL cannot produce the first SHRED of evidence of your Great BIG A-L-M-I-G-H-T-Y "God". LMAO! WHERE IS this Creator and Master of the Universe? WHERE? Same place as your afterlife = in your imagination.

Your "God" is as real as my cosmic teapot.

Personal attacks? quit whining.

The weakness of Pascal's Wager is based upon the "believer" being omniscient and choosing the RIGHT "God". Just because someone has had the buybull stuffed up their azz their whole life does not mean that the buybull "God" actually exists. errderrderrderrderr. Maybe the REAL "God" is one of the other THOUSANDS of "Gods" that man has created. Maybe it's JUJU at the bottom of the sea.

You admit that you cannot PROVE your "God"....so maybe you've picked the WRONG ONE! errderrderrderrderr.

If you actually understood the argument...I would not have needed to post this.

Cool. I'll need your name and address, so I can get a notarized statement from you stating that you are responsible for all costs involved. Otherwise, who cares what YOU think?

I'm just curious. What motivates you to make this challenge? Is it your concern for how others invest themselves? Is it due to some anal-order fixation, where you can't bear to have a conflicting viewpoint surviving despite your self-proclaimed superior knowledge of the absence of God?
Why this particular topic? Would you rally to debunk Santa from the minds of little children? Would you care to denounce telepathy, astral projection, and NDE's? UFO's? Do you feel a need to strengthen your position on God, or show off what you consider to be strength? What is your true interest in this challenge?

Why do you care? WHAT is so "curious" about it? You HAVE all of the answers, remember? YOU have the ALMIGHTY on your team. YOU have the CREATOR and MASTER of the ENTIRE universe on your team? YOU have the WRITTEN buybull on your team--"GOD's infallible, inerrant W-O-R-D".

WHAT is so curious? That -I- should do so well? Or, is it that you do so poorly?

I'm not doing poorly at all. I was correct in thinking you couldn't answer the question. As for caring..I really don't care how you believe. I'm only questioning your motives. For someone who claims to not believe in God, you sure do spend alot of time trying to disprove his existence.
