[LAFE CITIZEN]

WE ARE VERY THANKFUL TO HAVE SUCH A GOOD MAYOR THAT TAKES THE TIME AND EFFORT TO MAKE OUR TOWN BETTER. HE HAS ACCOMPLISHED ALOT FOR US IN A SHORT TIME, BY PUTTING IN GRANTS FOR THE PARK, AND HELPING THE FIRE DEPT. AND MAKING MUCH NEEDED REPAIRS TO OUR STREETS AND BRIDGES. ALSO THE UNSITELY BUILDINGS THAT ARE JUST DANAGERIOUS AND UGLY TO LOOK AT. HE HAS WORKED EVERYDAY HIMSELF FOR THIS COMMUNITY AND IS DOING A WONDERFUL JOB WE ARE VERY PROUD OF HIM. HE IS DOING THINGS THAT NEEDED DONE ALONG TIME AGO THAT MAYOR TRITCH WOULDN'T DO. IN MY OPINION MAYOR TRITCH HAD A IMAGE TO KEEP UP BUT HE DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO HELP THE TOWN. MAYOR OGLESBY HAS DONE MORE IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS THAN MAYOR TRITCH HAS DONE THE WHOLE TIME HE WAS MAYOR. AND PEOPLE ARE PROUND OF THE CHANGES THAT MAYOR OGLESBY HAS ALREADY DONE AND IS CONTINUEING TO DO FOR THE TOWN!!!!!

in the above mayor oglesby try but his hands are tide he try but the city councle gripes he dosent do things ther way big deal they should help hin hot put road blocxs in his way keep on doing good work huck.

mayor oglesby is doing a good job he has support from a couple of city council members but there are a few no names needed u know who u r that need to get off there asses and look around support him. because he is trying to make good improvements for this town. to the city council members that dont agree have u taken a drive around town to see what a good job he is doing. Give him support because the citizens are behind him in his work. good job mayor oglesby

To the OP while I agree with everything you said your post would have carried more weight without bashing Mr. Tritch. I think everyone can see the difference made already.

there no one bashing mr tritch there wes nothing to bash him about because he dident do any thing only what he wonted to do i thank the city councle wont to keep him a live that the reason they give mr. oglesby so much greef in what he wonts to do mrs knuckles is with the councle she there sectuary but one would thank she had a vote .i under stand there mother and daughter on the councle hub @wife @sister the mayor not kin ha ha i know there more people to run for the job but the citens of lafe dosent wont a change go figer

I am a former student from Lafe, I wanted to see the gym restored but it wasn't in the cards for that to happen. I didn't grow up in Lafe, there are people that live there that doesn't like change, you have to understand that changing with time helps for all to grow. when you have all council members family members you can't get anything accomplished. I do hope that the town gets their playground equipment that is needed .
It doesn't benifit the town to be at odds with each other. so please pull together to make your town a better place to live and raise your children.

Damn, looks like the best thing that has happened in that community is their educational facility being completely removed. What ever way took place has got to be an improvement from what I`ve be reading or better yet what I`ve been trying to read.

i heard lafe is a good place to live it a place to rise youre kids it a small town and i hope they get there play ground equipment there lots of people visit there park my grandkids play there from time to timeit a clean place to play it even be better when they get there new play ground equipment i pray the get it

Ok This forum was started to the how much of a good job that the mayor is doing not to talk bad about others. Yes the city council does have some family members on it but it is a small town and the ones that don't like this then get off ur asses and run they were voted into office by the people of this town.

Just when you think that you would like to move out of Lafe,stop and start checking into Oak Grove government and how that is run and you will be so glad that you don't live there that you will stop running Lafe into the ground

The mayor is doing a great job, but the city council needs to let him do more of what he wants. There is a few ladies on the council that are in it just for the money that need to let the Mayor do more.

What about the TV program that wished to assist in restoring the old Gymnasium? The "good mayor" would rather tear down the Gymnasium than to have it restored?! Knowing some of the details, it sounded more like a load of personal politics going on rather than doing what was best for the community.

Lafe has allowed every old landmark in the town to fall into disrepair and/or be torn down. Nothing left worth saving but the Lutheran and Baptist churches. I challenge you to name just one more landmark in Lafe that can be salvaged or put back into useable condition.
