Well, Im in the same boat. I have just let my bill go, cause my $400 Razor snapped into 3 pieces. Their plans may be ok, but the prices of their phones can be rediculious. Also, I went though 9 phones in 1 year. They were suppose to be new, yet they were refurbished, and after going through so many phones, that had problems that I didnt cause, the insurance wouldnt cover my last phone, so I gave up on it. Im a single mom of 2, and I will prolly have to wait til tax time to get another phone, Good luck on finding a phone.

Well my issue is I have Alltel, and I'm tired of my bill being so much. Plus my phone is a POS and has been locking up to the point I can't use it anymore. I spent $300 on this phone! So I went to Alltel today, and they're trying to tell me it's water damaged, and they won't replace it. It's never been anywhere near water. They want me to use my insurance and pay $50, which I'm NOT. So I've decided to switch to Cricket. If I can find a good used phone that is

They can take any phone, as long as it does not take a sims card, you have to go to the paragould cricket store, jonesboro want do it, but they will flash it with cricket software. Even the go-phones at wal-mart can be done.

I have had cricket for years and I have never heared of that. I can tell you that if you have a phone from sprint or one of the others and you owe them then you can not reuse that ens number on that phone. And as far as cricket phones go I got a new one and not even a month later it messed up. It would not pick up a signal and they told me I had to but another. I am fixing to switch to sprint.

Go phones at WalMart take sim cards so they probably wouldn't work.

If you are that desperate for a phone it shouldn't have to be a Razor. My daughter just got a Cricket phone yesterday and paid $49 for it and it even has bluetooth just no phone.

Thanks for the offers, but I bought a AT&T GoPhone instead. They have monthly plans you can pre pay, plus I get better deals, with roaming etc. I bought a LG phone, with bluetooth and camera for only $24.

I've never had a cell phone before but I've always heard good things about cricket. Im finally getting a phone and I was wondering, could I buy a phone from walmart and use that as my cricket phone? Can I do that? I just want a simple flip phone. Please help.
