It doesn't matter who you are or what you have done, even if it isn't you the Paragould Daily Press will print it. Even if someone falsifies court documents to benefit them self, and drags your name threw the muck and the mud the Daily Press will print it. Even if it is false information that even the court system has wrong. So don't count on everything the Daily Press print to be true because they don't care if it is or not, just as long as they can fill their pages with information be it true or not. They have to keep their readers, reading and it is no concern to them if they ruin another person reputation and good name.

Hush or you will be accused of being a disgruntled former employee even though you obviously aren't because you can spell...

I don't work at the Daily Press, and don't think a whole lot of some of the ways they have treated employees. BUT, if you are charged with a crime, it's public record, and you are fair game. That said, if you are found not guilty, I'd go to the paper office in question, and ask them nicely to put a small item on the front page letting people know that you were found not guilty. I'm betting they will do it. Meanwhile, they aren't worth their salt if they don't print all the arrests, other than really, really minor stuff.

I was not even the one that got in trouble it was someone that knew me. They used my address just so they would not have their real address.

You could have asked for a clarification or correction. People love to read anything under that headline. If you went to the police about it, they would verify it for the paper.

And this is the paper's fault because someone you know used your address to cover their ass?!?!? Maybe Angry Citizen needs to be angry at the person that put them into this situation!!!

Tried many times with the court and the paper to clarify and change the information but the only cooperation that I have had is from the mayors office. Paragould Daily Press is a joke.

Contact the prosecutor's office, and see if they can help you with the paper.
