I JUST WANTED TO GIVE MENTION OF SOMETHING GOOD IN PARAGOULD. IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT, ADDICTION AFFECTS EVERYONE. EVERYONE HAS SOMEONE THEY KNOW THAT HAVE BEEN OR ARE BEING DESTOYED BY THE USE OF DRUGS. THE AGAPE HOUSE CHANGED MY LIFE...SUNNY CURTIS IS THE DIRECTOR OF THE AGAPE HOUSE. SHE IS A INSPIRATION TO ME.. I LOVE THE AGAPE HOUSE AND SUNNY AND TABITHA...

I think the Agape house is a wonderful thing. Congrats to those than can battle their addiction and win. I was wondering if the facility ever takes donations of clothing for the women there.

yes mam. i live there and we take donations. if no one there can wear it, we have a yard sell and use the money for stuff that we need like toilet paper or whatever we need.

It isn't because they weren't given the chance, these are adults...and make their own decisions, the home and the people putting their lives into making it work are there as support and guidance. It's a wonderful place for someone who WANTS help. I knew Shelly before and after the Agape house and she's pretty awesome!

IDK what her name is, but MUCHOS KUDOS to the lady who was at their fair booth! I was looking at the before pic saying "OMG! Look how rough that one is!" Then a blond lady smiled at me & said it was her when she first got to the Agape House! I didn't even recognize her!!! What a difference she's made for herself! I hope there are many other stories like hers.

You can look up the phone number, cause they wont let me put it on here..Its under Agape House. You have to get on a waiting list. They have to call for themselves, to get on the waiting list. It is a awesome program.

i seen the pic too but no one was in the booth at the time. my question is to shelley or anyone who has been thru the program. maybe i'm too prideful, i don't know but don't you get embarrassed or feel ashamed when you look at before and after pics or think about your past lifestyle? i realize that our past is who we are and why we are where we are today. just wondering your take from someone who has "been there". i guess eventually you are going to have to be "exposed" if you truly want help. maybe i answered my own question.

I think it would serve as a reminder to them why they don't want to go back to that lifestyle. It may be embarrassing, but sometimes the shame is enough to change people.

Anyone from the Agape House, if any way possible, you guys should post the pick from your fair booth & a recent pic of her to show what can happen when people WANT help & have the SUPPORT SYSTEM they NEED! Good Work, Guys & Congrats to those who are recovering!

God has really changed my life, now i have hope. Jesus loves me so much... I am alive now, you can look at that pic and see that i was dead.....
