Just wondering is anyone else is having as many problems as I am with them. I'm sick of paying a bill and only getting service half the time! I have not had internet in four days and for the last month or so it only worked off and on! Call them and all you get is either they're working on it or we will send someone out and it ends with that! Anyone else had any problems or am I the only one?

I know the owners of Fusion Media and they are great people. I'm sure they will get to your problem as quickly as they can. They are doing the best that they know how, so GIVE 'EM A BREAK!!!

Well I'm the first one to post and I didn't post the other two you idiot! There's more out there than me that is tired of the bs! And to just curious I didn't knock them as individuals but they're not very good in the business world!

This is weird because my husband and I were just discussing this. Anytime it rains, we have no internet and on the weekend it is in and out all weekend long. We pay 60.00 a month and hardly ever have service. Same goes for my parents. I think we are all going to cancel ours.

I have also have trouble with the Internet the cable is great but it seems like something is always wrong. It is on and off and my wireless never works!!

I have never had a problem with my internet or cable they have been working in oak grove area the past 2 days i know kenny and willis very well (willis) use to own it but he sold it to kenny. i have times when my internet wasn't working right i would call and they would fix it fast so i'm sure that they will get to you as quickly as possible so cut them a little slack they aren't just in oak grove anymore they have the cable system all the way down to brookland and almost to lake frierson so give them a break

Who wants to pay a bill and never have service? I might as well just put my money in the trash its about the same! Bet if I sent them half of what I owe they wouldn't be to happy. But what are they going to do shut me off haha go right ahead bet I'd never know the difference! Having internet that is wide span is no excuse for crappy service or lame excuses for blowing you off when you call them! I had blacksheep before I moved to the oak grove area and never had problems with them and if ever once I did all I had to do was call and it was taken care or right then I was never given the run around and honey they are a whole lot bigger than Fusion is! I've given Fusion their fair share of chances and am once again doing the same thing five days later still with no internet but I'm about to my limit!

Well if you've had that much trouble with their service for so long and you're unhappy with it, then why do you continue to pay for it? Cancel your subscription and move on; don't just sit around & post on Topix about how crappy Fusion Media is. And besides, if your internet hasn't been working then how in the heck are you posting threads on Topix?

Uhmm its called a blackberry dumba$$. its this thing called a phone that allows internet axcess in case your to retarded to know what that is too! And I posted it to see if anyone else is having as many problems as me or if it was only my service. You know to see if they deserved the benefit of a doubt! Oh and its also a good way to let anyone know that is thinking of subscribing with them that its a waste of their money! A little heads up is always nice right?!

Well ive had there service over a year now and im in the sticks in oak grove and have never had a issue.. great service in my opioin. I even added on to my house needed another cable run and they where there the same day

I was with the Independent cable before they sold it to fusion, we live close to Standford we get great service. The poster is probably someone trying to cause problems for them, most people knows this.

Well, the reason why I stay with them is NOT for the great service, but rather, no one else services our area... Called AT&T about DSL, and guess what, the school up the road gets it, my cousin in Gainesville gets it, but I'm right in the middle of both of those locations and I can't get it! So, I stay with Fusion because I can't get it anywhere else... I'm not happy with their service. Cable, sure! Internet, no. As a previous poster replied, if it's raining, colder than 70 degrees or the slightest breeze, I have not web... If it's a friday evening after the offices close, I have no web, but it miraculously returns by 9am Monday morning. I agreed to pay the fee for full time SERVICE not PART-TIME.

I have no beef with Kenny or Willis, they are both very nice. I have no beef with their 'after hours' operators, they are nice... I have an issue with the service in which these people provide. When you tell a customer you will have a technician return your call, RETURN the call... Don't just assume that they have turned the other cheek. If you are going to offer internet service and the lines 'are being worked on', ADD THAT INFO TO THE RECORDING so that callers will no if the lines are being worked on, otherwise, customers feel like they are just being blown off!

In closing, if you are still working on a system that has been 'up' for nearly 3 years in one area and you have had valuable (cause we're STILL paying) customers, issue a credit,% off or something to ease the burden of NOT being charged full price for half-time service!

I don't have any issues with the company or the people, but like Broken Society wrote, when you depend on the internet for say, ONLINE CLASSES and then you get kicked offline because you weren't holding your mouth just right, and the sun wasn't in the right perimeter of alignment with Jupiter and the moons of Saturn, DURING A TEST, it can become very bothersome! Just my opinion!

Your are so right they are updating with fiberoptics it will take a little time. Everytime I've called someone has got my computer going whether it was my fault or theirs. Most the time it is my computer. But they fix it anyway.

We're currently paying $50/month for internet in Oak Grove through Fusion Media...

I will say, Fusion's speed is spectacular... A download that took well over an hour with $40 PLWC internet, usually takes not even half that long with Fusion.

But the reliability factor is a little shaky with Fusion.

It constantly clicks on and off, and being a Playstation 3 guy, it's kind of annoying being halfway through a Madden game with a friend from out-of-town, and getting booted off in the third quarter.

So if there is a way for Fusion to fix the glitches, it would be well worth the $50/month, just to have their speed.
