Last week my and a friend went to eat at Casa Brava, half way through the meal, thinking I saw something fall in front of my face I looked down and there was a roach in the middle of my plate crawling around on what was left of my food. My friend waved down a waiter, he looked and immediately grabbed both of our plates. Of course, we got up to leave, when we reached the front three of the waiters were standing in the kitchen door waving for us to go ahead and go.

My thought is, if they are out and wandering when people are in there with lights on, imagine what it must be like when no one is there in the dark.

That ruined my mexican eating.
just wondering

Do you not realize this goes on everywhere? We were at Fuji's the other day sitting at the grill. A man and his daughter's joined us. Before he sat down he saw a roach on the floor and picked up the chair and smashed it with the leg. Sadly, this is Arkansas, roaches are EVERYWHERE

That is awful, I don't know what I would do if I had them in my house.
I bet some woman would go on here and say, you shouldn't trash talk them. They are one of our local businesses and you shouldn't trash talk like that.
To that I would say "truth is not trash"

Honey, you would be surprised at how many resturants in paragould have roaches and you WILL NEVER KNOW IT. unfortunatally this is the way in every town & city. get used to it or don't go out to eat.

If they were EVERYWHERE, they would be in each and every one of our homes, I can say with much confidence they ARE NOT in MINE.

In every restaurant, maybe, I dont know, but when they are seen it needs to be known.

Sweetie, if I never know then I dont have a problem, but when they are in my plate, in my face, we have a problem.

Maybe they all need to close a few days and call pest control people.

some of the problem with resturants getting roaches is that they come in with deliveries. like potatoes and some other vegatables. but they should be able to keep them under control regardless of where they are coming from. every resturant is going to have one every once in awhile. do you know that if we had a nuclear incident that the roach would survive?? they are survivors and can live anywhere. but that doesnt excuse places from having them.

If anyone likes the white cheese dip there, you can make it at home just as good! But the Mexican cheese in a square package at WalMart. I get the jalepeno one. It's not hot, so I always add more! LOL But it's just as good. Add a little milk, let it melt, and it's just as good as the Mexican places, but roach free!

I don't know why anybody goes to Casa Brava. The waiters (Julio and Shorty especially) are very rude. If they don't like the person that comes in they will not wait on them. A friend of mine went in there the other day and got some salsa that tasted like bleach (Julio and Shorty both were working that day & neither of them like this person for some reason). This person got up and left. I won't go there to eat because I'm afraid of them putting something in my food to make me sick or even kill me.

Casa Brava !! My favorite restaurant of all times. Julio, Shorty, Paco and the rest of the group are all very nice and they do a excellent job of waiting on tables, serving the hared to please customers and the special order customers. If you go at opening time ( 11 am ) you will see people standing outside the doors waiting in line for them to open. Always busy, you cant have a bad restaurant and it be busy all the time. Just look outside of a restaurant at the cars parked there and that will tell you if its a good place to eat. My opinion is that its the best mexican restaurant in town and they will have my business forever.

Love Mexican food needs to go to a good place than they will know how nasty Casa Brava is!

and if you don't kiss ass they don't serve you!
and you better leave a nice tip or you will never get a table again even if the place is empty! maybe that is why there is a line--coming out not going in.
