Anyone have a good recommendation for a swimming pool contractor in Paragould or Jonesboro?

Do NOT use WONDER POOLS!!! Not unless you want a fish pond!!!! I have a $15,000.00-$20,000.00 fish pond in my back yard thanks to wonder pools. They SEND a contractor out, but you do not pick one, but yet they do not stand behind the work. I was the one to get a dope head contractor that left in the middle of the job. Then good luck on finding one to pick up where somewhere left off. Wonder Pool owmers tell you a lie after another, if they have the balls to get on the phone to talk. check out heir current lawsuites too before you call them.

Note sure where or how for that matter you get your information from but Wonder Pool does stand by their work but it's stupid people like the ones running their traps here that makes it hard for contractors of any kind to get their job done. Hell everyone wants to sue anybody and everybody these days why? To make a few bucks or get something for nothing? The Gassaway's are nothing but really nice people and it's people like you that make it hard for companies like Wonder Pool to make, it get a life!!!!

Well the only contractor I know of is bill boardman. But he only puts up above grounds. Wonderpools only SELLS the pool & supplies. Yet, they do instal ingrounds. But it is an insult to me for what you say cause bill does wonderful work as well as construction. I have never had a problem at all. So if you are looking for an above ground pool or any type of construction get ahold of him. He runs his own business -Boardman Pool & Construction. It's nice to know people in this town like to ruin things for other people.

my experience with Wonder Pools was "wonderful" if you'll pardon the pun. I got my pool for about $5,000 less and it is beutiful. We have enjoyed three summers in it so far.

DO NOT USE Gary Odor of Artistic Pools in Jonesboro. He is TERRIBLE. His work is beyond inferior. He does not repair it properly and then never returns calls or lives up to his contract. I know of at least 2 others who have had similar experiences to mine.*A*W*F*U*L*!!!

Do not use Classic Pools out of Jonesboro under any circumstances unless you
don't care about how much of your property, plants, yard etc... is destroyed
want to clean up after their workers every day--trash, lunch, metal etc...
want it to take 3X as long as promised
want to be lied to or "misled"
want a mess to deal with
want to pay more than quoted
want to pay ahead and wait for work to be done
want to have to continually call them to get them to come and finish their work
don't care if your warranties are valid
be prepared to get them to get EVERYTHING they say that they are going to do in WRITING

If you want to know more, check out the Jonesboro posts. It seems very few people are happy with their work.

Could not have said it better myself. Take his words to heart if you are planning on putting in an inground pool or spa from these people.

Why you assume they sue for nothing? If they had been charged and had to pay a bunch of money (or even just a little), and the job wasn't done to their likely and the contractor didn't follow up on their wishes, then they were right to sue. I don't know anyone who would pay $20,000 and let it go if the job wasn't finished, and done the way they like.

Chances are, if they had done their job the first time, or at least made it right or refunded their money in the first place, a lawsuit wouldn't have been needed.

Put it this way, if you sue for no reason, chances are you won't win (businesses have good lawyers usually), but if there is a true reason, you might have a chance.

I know this person (who claimed they won a lawsuit) lied. One bad thing about this site is that some people spin outlandish stories and people accept it as fact.

Just as it is getting warm enough reminds me just how many problems Classic Pool caused us. We are now swimming after several thousand $$s s of corrections AFTER CP left. It took another pool person to correct issues, an electrician corrected CPs issues, a plumber corrected CPs flaws and finally a landscaper. Whew!!! Did we take we get taken by Classic Pools.

There are no good contractors in this area I have tried them all. And for buying chemicals go online to in the swim and pay half for the same quality stuff. The only contractor in the state that I know is good is Walden Chemical out of little rock

What kind of problems did you have with Gary Odor? He claims he has only had three people who didn't like his work and hundreds who have liked it.
