1. She should not have been changing clothes in a moving vehicle with boys. One of which is over 18 and it is illegal for him to have a romantic relationship with a minor. 2. They made this a public issue when they put other peoples lives in danger. Thank God there was not another car close to them. 3. Where we're the parents of these children when they were getting high and drunk? These children do not need to be babied. If they think they are old enough to make such adult decisions then they need to face the repercussions of their actions. Legal and moral and so do the parents. Making excuses is not going to help them. That is how they got in this mess the first place!

Absolutely everything all the "Chelsea fan club"keep saying to try to prove her innocent in this wreck,, just proves how guilty she is ..the one thing everyone agrees on is that Chelsea and Chelsea alone was a huge distraction for the driver... one person even said she jumped across the driver and was yelling out the drivers window nude..not even the best of drivers could have controlled the vehicle with someone across his body....noone has said anything about any of the other kids..except that one gave his life .. The more people try to tell the facts, as they have heard them, the more it is clear that the Driver (Jared) lost control of the vehicle because of Chelsea Hyde..and it had nothing to do with pedestrians or his ability to operate a car. Given all the comments in this thread,,if it were my child being buried today, I would not be blaming this driver but the person that caused the wreck and that person would absolutely pay for any part played in my childs death.. in no way would this be written off as just and "Accident" that could have happened to anyone..THIS accident could have been avoided, and this child would be alive today..

Get YOUR facts straight Jared was not the driver, it was Danial. Second, even Jared said Chelsea was not naked AND he said they all were clowning around AND someone was in the road!

Daniel and Chelsea should both be charged. Not only was he driving under the influence, but then another fucked up person was leaned over him, probably blocking his view, and completely distracted him. Even sober people would lose control in that situation. Add alcohol and drugs and this is what happens. Maximum penalty for both

if you have the FACTS, then you should be a star witness for the prosecution, with your FACTS you just put everyone at fault for the death of Dakota, and they all should face manslaughter charges...is that what you and all these so called friends of these kids want.. if it is then keep up the "He said/She said " Facts, or just let the Law weed out the true Facts and place fault where fault is ..because right now you and several others have given alot of information to put all these kids away for the rest of their young life..

That's the thing. That's how Chelsea is. She's a HO! She can act sweet and act like she didn't do anything... She gets away with a lot. Someone needs to put her in her place. She knows and is a where of what she does. She doesn't care tho. Nothing's going to stop her until she gets in trouble.

Thank you someone agreeing. If she'd just own up too crap she does I'd be fine with her but she doesn't. She doesn't think she does anything wrong.

Actually Daniel the driver is 19 the rest were 15 and 16. This is a sad story all the way around. Yea they all made mistakes that night and now they all have to live with the consequinces not only losing a friend but some of their lives will be ruined. Some wont beable to reach their dreams and goals now. I just hope and pray everyone learns from this tragedy and it opens eyes to realize actions have consequinces.

People please stop this arguing. I think a lot of you are students who either went to school with Dakota or some of the other kids.
I know it was a devastating thing to happen, but it does no good to get on a public forum and put someone down because you believe what you were told my someone who told someone who told someone.
If you have a problem with this and I'm sure many of you do, go to the school counselor and talk about it, don't spread rumors for the families of these children to see.
How would you feel if it were you they are talking about? We've all done things we wondered how we lived through and these kids will be found out in the end. The truth will be told for everyone to know.
So, just settle down and think about how precious your family and your life is and how fragile life is.
And for you adults, you should be ashamed of yourself for getting on here with speculations about these kids. Grow up and mind your own business. This will all be cleared up in the end.
God bless and keep you all and especially to the family who lost the son.

I totally agree. One thing is for sure though, her and the other two boys know EXACTLY what happened! And if she was acting in that manner, which she probably was then she will have to live with knowing he lost his life because of her recklessness. Chelsea hun take this as a sign, you are far to young to be going down that nasty road. Straighten yourself up for your own sake and everyone around you from now on.

This is just awful. The pain everyone is having. Everyone is dealing with this loss the best they can. The pain of losing a child is something I don't want to imagine and 3 makes the pain unimaginable. The law will filter out truth from lies. Life is about choices some we make are good some bad. The lessons we learn from the bad is what makes us become better human beings. Teenagers sometimes make bad decisions as parents it's up to us to help them pick up the pieces and help the learn the lesson. Everyone has opinions(they are like buttholes, everyone has one) none are right or wrong, just different. That's what makes us who we are, just different. There is already way too much hate in this world and turning on one another will not bring this beautiful child back. Please no more fighting, please try to show support for the family.
