Yeah, she's wrong. As usual. An atheist usually says there is no evidence to support that a gods exists. At least from what I usually hear anyhow.

Again, I wonder how much of the average church donations actually go to helping anyone? Most of the small churches around here can barely collect enough to pay their pastor(s) an exorbitant salary and benefits and keep the lights on, which is thousands of dollars combined a week per church. Just think of all the good and helping people that all of that money to support every church in Paragould could do. Or all of the people that all of that money that supports every church in America could do. Just think how many churches are in Paragould. And in America. The amounts of money would be mind boggling to know. But no, the actual charity to the poor pales in comparison. It is a pittance.
If you really wonder maybe you should start going to church and find out. You might be surprised. I don't know why you say "most" of the churches around here can barely pay. All the ones I know about have plenty and plenty to do their mission work which means a benevolent fund and mission work, back pack programs food pantry, mission outreach, etc.

Why is it u sound like a pastor doing his job shouldn't earn a living? U should talk to a few pastors and u'd find they make even less than teachers and policemen... But I suppose they should have to work two jobs to feed their families? And perhaps u should get in on a business meeting before u assume the church isn't doing its part to help the needy... I'm sure there are these churches- like rich central whose pastor prolly makes a good chunk- but then again ... Imagine the type of tithes it gets from all those richies.... But yeah, they prolly spend more on that building, the concerts, and fluff than helping the poor.... I think ur more likely to find the poor helpers in the little struggling churches that pay their pastor meager amounts and have no building fund....their eyes are fixed on something different.. But surely even central donates to the church health center, local children's home and battered shelter, city youth, boy scouts groups who need a place to meet, clothes closet, angel tree, elderly assistance, pregnancy resource center, etc.... No? Shame shame... Lots of work to b done

I'm not joe, or drunk. You suck at being a Internet detective. Pretty much at thinking in general.
But I do think it's funny as hell that you said you being an ldiot was relevant;) Remember you said AFTER that part it lost relevance! Tehehehehe
I was pointing out the fact that your spelling and word comprehension are so atrocious(in addition to your ridiculous arrogance,logic/perception) that nothing following that was worthy or had any relevance to the subject. But you know that, don't you? Your forte is always the same. Inject your inflammatory, antagonizing comments into as many threads as your bored, pathetic little fingers can hammer out. The instant you're called out and your assertions are beaten into the ground for the tripe they are, you start with the name calling, take a huge dump on the thread, declare victory and move on to another thread to spread your ignorance. Anyone who dares to reply more than once is perceived by your malformed brain to be a "stalker". It's the same sad template used by trolls daily on a thousand other forums. At the end of the day, you must realize that you find enjoyment in making people angry. You aren't some sort of "that's what I think, take it or leave it!" self-proclaimed martyr. You intentionally go out of your way to be an douche bag. Your fantasy world delusions are laughable at best. So keep up the good fight troll. You have an open forum to spew your garbage. How many brave soldiers had to die to preserve that right for the likes of you? Your juvenile bantering and antagonizing is a slap in the face to those who gave all, just so you can use it for your own pathetic enjoyment. Think about that "bubba". I'm out of here.

You been boo hooing like this every since I proved that you fabricate and lie about replies. Shouldn't have done it over and over again. Yeah, and then there your pill addiction I discovered. You can't hide that, I didn't think you wanted to answer that thread. I know you read it though, this "out of here" is so you have a reason to not answer it;) chow boo.

Where is this "proof"? I sincerely have NO clue what you are talking about, but I doubt you do either. Judging from the horrible sentence structure (then there your pill addiction), I would imagine the only "discovery" you've managed to accomplish all day is that your diaper needs changing. Once again, show me where you have "proven" anything in regards to my comments. That should keep a troll busy for a few hours.

Thought you "were out of here"? Mmhmm that's what I thought. Far as proof it's up there, you just refuse to comprehend. Matters to me none. And excuse my typos, but I'm surprised you was able to make it out without an apostrophe or that that little bitty word is missing. But you did!! I have underestimated you. I see you're crabby, pills must have worn off;)

And I told you how your supposed distinctions among atheists are irrelevant to this topic. Did you have the attention span and comprehension ability to catch that? It wasn't subtle. Also, yes, unlike you.

Yeah, I would say most. Most around here don't have more than a couple hundred members, if that. Do you have any idea how many churches Paragould has? As for the others, and ones that also have those food programs that I know for a fact are also included in that "most," I'm not sure that distributing donated food counts too much against that fact. It isn't like they purchased it with their funds. The money that is being discussed.

Being a pastor is supposed to be a calling from God. Not a job with a great salary and benefits (which often times include a car and/or home which is worth a whole lot). Wednesday night and twice on Sunday. I wish I had those hours. You say that they sometimes make less than teacher and policemen, but I wonder how much if you compared the per hour rate (plus the value of their benefits)? Besides, I'm not sure that those jobs should be the standard for what a preacher makes anyways. It just sometimes seems like a gravy train for something that they should be volunteering to do. I wonder how Jesus would view all of this. Probably not like many think.

Know so much, I get what you are saying about the big and small churches though. But I know for a fact that my reasoning applies to some very small churches.

Leviticus 20:13 "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."

So God told Moses to tell everyone to kill gays while he was handing him the 10 Commandments?

Yep, it's in the Bible, even though it sounds like something out of the Taliban.

So if you are going to quote the Bible on gays, then do it correctly.

Jesus never once said anything about gays. But God did. Quote it. Embrace it. Or do you Christians reject the words of God?

Matthew 19-24

"Then Jesus said to his disciples,'I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.'"

"Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

Jesus was asked who will not get into heaven in that section of Matthew, and he mentioned murders, liars, theifs, adulters once each.

And then Jesus harped on and on about the apparent sin of being rich, saying that it is hard for the rich to get into heaven (which is what sins by definition prevent someone from doing).

In that passage Jesus puts the rich in the same category as murders, liars, thiefs, adulters, and of course with God all things are possible and they can be saved if they give up their murderous, lying, stealing, cheating, or rich capitalistic ways and ask for God's forgiveness for those sins.

Jesus never once mentioned gays though.

As a Christian, besides the gays that Jesus never once mentioned, do you condemn the rich as Jesus unambiguously did?

If not, then how do you explain that away?

Are you personally against gays being able to marry? Is so, then why? If not, then why do you patrol this thread?
