Canada hiring out of work Americans

It seems Canada energy companies are having trouble replacing skilled retiring workers. They have been having job fairs in the US recruiting American skilled workers. They plan to double their oil production over the next ten years. They are looking for: electricians, mill writes (sp), etc. They need workers for infa-structure , oil and gas, mines being built, ports,hydro- electric. "It's kinda endless", says spokes person for British Columbia Construction Association, Abigail Fulton. She says they have a lot of major infrastructure projects planned.
The western Canadian Provinces of British Columbia and Alberta predict a skilled worker shortage of more than 150,000 over the next decade and are recruiting American workers. "The kind of workers needed are: engineers, those with welding skills, skill sets in construction, a wide range", says Ken Hughes, Alberta Minister of Energy.
When times get hard sometimes we have to think outside the box. Sometimes we have to go where the jobs are. Canada anyone?
