New pro-Obama ad has children blaming parents for aftermath of a Romney win

A new video in support of President Obama features a children’s choir singing about a world in which Mitt Romney wins the 2012 presidential election and gays can be “fixed” and “oil fills the sea.”
The web video was produced by the firm Goodby Silverstein and Partners -- known for the “Got milk?” advertising campaign and a client base that includes Cheetos and Nintendo, according to The San Francisco Chronicle.
The child sing about blaming “mom and dad” for the Romney vote, as a piano accompanies them.
The two-minute ad is on the Future Children Project website above the words:“Re-electing President Obama is a momentous decision that will require every single voter. What would the children of the future say if we let them down this November?"
The children also sing "Big Bird is sacked," a reference to Romney's saying he would stop taxpayer subsidies of the Public Broadcast System and frequent Obama campaign attack after Romney restated his intentions during the first presidential debate.

The video is very shocking. Here are the lyrics. It's very sad when children are exploited like this. It's reprehensible.

Imagine an America
Where strip mines are fun and free
Where gays can be fixed
And sick people just die
And oil fills the sea

We don't have to pay for freeways!
Our schools are good enough
Give us endless wars
On foreign shores
And lots of Chinese stuff

We're the children of the future
American through and through
But something happened to our country
And we're kinda blaming you

We haven't killed all the polar bears
But it's not for lack of trying
Big Bird is sacked
The Earth is cracked
And the atmosphere is frying

Congress went home early
They did their best we know
You can't cut spending
With elections pending
Unless it's welfare dough

We're the children of the future
American through and through
But something happened to our country
And we're kinda blaming you

Find a park that is still open
And take a breath of poison air
They foreclosed your place
To build a weapon in space
But you can write off your au pair

It's a little awkward to tell you
But you left us holding the bag
When we look around
The place is all dumbed down
And the long term's kind of a drag

We're the children of the future
American through and through
But something happened to our country
And yeah, we're blaming you

You did your best
You failed the test

Mom and Dad
We're blaming you!

I think I've been insulted. Politics does seem to be a sewer. Perhaps that is what has happened to our new Congress.

How can Christians, in all good faith, vote for Obama? Take time to read your Bible, search your hearts, and pray about it before you cast your vote. Much is at stake.

I did find one important truth in the lyrics of that song:

"When we look around
The place is all dumbed down"

Yes indeed, the population has been severely dumbed down by our government controlled educational system.

We have been dumbed down to the point that we no longer know our own nation's history, nor do we understand even the most basic freedoms that were won for us and preserved by the shedding of much blood.

We don't even know what form of government we have, what the purpose of the Constitution is, or even what is lawful or unlawful for our elected representatives to do.

We have become ignorant and weak, completely dependent on government who now controls nearly every aspect of our lives. And we're too stupid to even know it.

So yeah, you kiddies who sing that song certainly have been dumbed down. The fact that you agree with the lyrics of that song is ample proof of that.

Our nation is on the express train to destruction. I think we're too far gone to stop it.

Have you heard about the college level classes offered free on the Constitution? It's offered by Hillsdale College, I think that's the name of the college. I believe there are levels 1&2 offered. Rush advertises it.

Information is available for those who seek it. My complaint regards the pitiful government educational system.

Instead of focusing on core curriculum, we spend our time and money teaching kids about diversity, deviant sexual behavior, and the left wing socialist agenda.

They graduate high school with pitiful written and oral communication skill, ignorant of U.S. history, completely ignorant of the structure and operation of our federal government, severely deficient in mathematics and science of every sort, and unprepared for college.

They can, however, put a condom on a banana in under 3 seconds, and they know which medical providers in town perform abortions without parental consent. They also think that government should take from each according to his ability and give to each according to his need.

Is it any wonder why we've seen such a devolution of our culture?
